I work for Sirius Radio And I have some bad news for our customers, I am in the activations department we just did some new training on what is to come

Starting On march 1st the multi receiver radio is no longer going to be 6.99 the new price is 8.99 so we are only saving 30%.
Also there is no longer going to be any free online listening. the only ppl that will get it for free are the lifetime subscribers. Everyone else has to pay 2.99 unless they have mostly music or the family pack then it is 8.99 everyone will be getting emails starting Jan 26th ffor the sale that will be going on. You can purchase a 3 yr plan to lock in the multi receiver rate with the 6.99 price.

Looks like it's been confirmed with customer service. It's funny how Taylor and MM's place has been a source of breaking news about satellite radio. Hell more people found out about the channel lineup changes there than found out from Sirius XM.

Oh this does really suck. Unfortunately things like this just had to happen...how else are they gonna raise cash? They owe so much around there, but I doubt they really understand the groundswell of pissed-off customers they are gonna create with this penny-pinching. This is going to backfire. IMO.

For example, perhaps the airlines should charge for the bathroom next, along with peanuts and pillows? I hear they're adding wing-seating next.
