Chaunce Hayden Lies About SFN & Stern Fans

The NY Daily News columnists Rush & Molloy ran a Chaunce story saying that 14,000 Stern Fans on SternFanNetwork.com are unhappy with Howard. Here's the NY Daily News Article. This article also claims that many Stern Fans are canceling Sirius. Let me put this bluntly, the article is a lie.

The thread in questions has less than 600 posts made by 274 people. The thread has positive and negative comments in it. A total of 4 people claimed they were going to cancel Sirius, but coincidently all 4 of these claims were made by new members after O&A trashed Howard on their show.

Somehow they blew 4 posts into 14,000 cancellations.

The thread started out with a normal discussion about Howard missing the funeral but after O&A trashed Howard for it, all the O&A pests came over to spread their hate. Thread is approximately 1/3 normal discussion, 1/3 O&A pests stirring shit, and 1/3 Stern fans telling the O&A fans to fuck off. The assholes who trashed Howard were all new members with less than 100 posts. Some had less than 10 posts. They were not the fans who post here everyday. There is no way that anyone could read that 600 post thread made by 274 people where many people were supporting Howard and come to the conclusion that 14,000 Stern fans are mad at Howard or canceling Sirius. It's just a complete bullshit.

Does anyone else remember that Rush and Malloy were on that eyada internet radio station- the same one that Scat Lover Chaunce was on with his train-wreck of a show? Enough said about their credibility.

I also find it more than a coincidence that this article is a week after THE SHOW aired replays of Howard's rant against the Human Toilet from (I believe) February and an airing an interview with Page 6's Richard Johnson (from around the same time, I believe). Big time sour grapes on their part, I'd say.

Rush and Malloy are far from innocent on this IMHO.

Subject: Today's piece on Howard Stern
I would like to suggest that in the future, you exercise more diligence in checking your facts before issuing statements like the one you made today about fans voicing their displeasure on www.sternfannetwork.com. The fact that 14,000 people viewed a thread on a bulletin baord on this topic does not equal 14,000 people "expressing their distaste". But I wouldn't expect yellow journalists that use Chaunce Hayden as a source to understand this fact.

I do not suggest that I speak for www.sternfannetwork.com, it's owners, or even the majority of its participants. I am merely a level-headed person who strongly questions your journalistic integrity. It is obvious you have an agenda with Howard Stern and his fans.
