GETTING ON THE ROUNDTABLE

I need guests!!! We get a lot of the same people volunteering over and over but I want fresh meat. Don't get me wrong, I love our regulars but I'd like to bring back some of our older guests and find some more new ones. I try to have one new person on each week.

Each week I start a roundtable brainstorming thread in this forum where the fans help build our topics. I also start a listening thread where people discuss the show while it's happening. If you'd like to do the show, get in there and participate. Once you've been around for awhile ask to be on the show in this thread and pick a date.

The current schedule is list below. If you've never done the show before, you need to pick a week without another newbie. If you don't know who's a newbie and who's a regular, you'll figure it out by listening to the show & participating in the listening threads. To be safe, pick a week that's wide open.

It's difficult to schedule this far in advance and depending on what happens on the Stern Show, you may get bumped for a regular or special guest. CALLING INTO THE SHOW: When calling into the show, there's no need to give shout outs to SFN or your friends on SFN. We don't have a ton of time so please don't waste any of it. We already have topics setup. Please be a good caller and respond to the topics. Thanks 1-888-STERN-101

We have 4 people on each show and I try to make at least one of them a brand new person who's never been on. You can make your requests here in the Super Fan Roundtable forum or you can email them here.


GUESTS OF THE SHOW: The show airs from the Sirius studios in NYC Times Square. It's on the 36th floor of the McGraw Hill building on the corner of 49th & 6th in studio 21. (Google MAP) Guests should be there at 6PM so we can do mic checks. The show goes live at 7PM. You can not bring any friends. our studio is very small and there's really no place for them. I'll need your full name in advance and you need to bring your ID for security. If I don't put you on the list and you don't have your ID, you will not be able to get in.

This is an office and you are expected to be on your best behavior. It's not some free for all party. You shouldn't do anything that you would do when stopping by the bank. You cannot bring alcohol, take off your clothes, make noise, or bother people. I know you are a Stern fan but we're not out at the bar. You need to be cool. Don't stop them and ask for an autograph or photo. Everytime one of you misbehaves, I get a new rule to follow.

You CAN NOT walk around Sirius. You will be escorted from the upstairs lobby to the studio and back out. Do not take it upon yourself to just walk around & check things out. Nobody is allowed to stop by other shows. DO NOT stop by Ferrall's studio under any circumstances even if you think it's OK. I've been told by management that it's not. If you'd like to be a guest on Ferrall, they need to put you on their guest list.

You may take photos in the studio but please do not take pictures in the halls or lobby.

DO NOT sign the wall.

All plugs must be approved in advance. If you are going to be on the show and you have something to plug, you need to let me know the day before. ANYONE WHO PLUGS A WEBSITE OR BUSINESS WITHOUT PERMISSION WILL NOT BE INVITED BACK.

Hope things are well for you, especially after todays "crash". I would definitly do the show if you are interested in having me...I shot alot of videos that can be discussed and have been Stern a fan since NBC. I'll check out the thread and participate..

I live on Long Island and can easily make into the city. I have been a huge fan for about 10 years. I listen to pretty much every minute of the show, check howardstern.com, marksfriggin, and sternfannetwork everyday to supplement my listening. I also have Howard TV of course! I listen to Howard at my job streaming on the internet....and I am a school psychologist. I listen on head phones of course! My posts haven't been that great. But I read through a lot of the other posts everyday. I am a little frustrated, because to become a full member I have to post twice a day for 30 days, and I don't have the time to do that. I try to post a little something once a day to keep my membership fresh. I would love to be in the studio during the Super Fan Round Table. I think I have a lot to offer to the conversations. I am intelligent, vocal, and a big fan that usually doesn't have a forum like this to converse about various topics related to the show. I am repectable also. I would adhere to all the rules that you have for being at the Sirius offices. If you want to chat more you can email me back! Thanks a lot!

edit: oh, I should mention that I've been listening to/watching Howard since the Channel 9 days. I have Sirius & Howard TV and listen to the full show daily.

The only setbacks is, is that I will be in NYC on vacation and don't know if I'll be able to listen to Howard that week.
