I'm listening too, I can't get Howard today.
And even though I do like Opie and Anthony, I have to admit: Opie is a freaking dork. Oh. My. God. He is sing-songing "Friday I'll be at the Hard Rock Cafe" in response to Bubba's calling him out. You know that feeling you get when someone is doing something dorky and you feel embarrassed for them? That is how I feel hearing Opie. Yikes.
Even though I am not a big fan of Bubba (although the last couple times I have heard him I have enjoyed him) he is pretty dead-on in this rant.
I assume Bubba mentioned that Lobster thing at the end? They haven't gotten to it yet. |

That was one of the most retarded things I have ever, ever heard. Figures this is the first time in over a year that I have heard them live and this is what they are doing.
What is the deal with their fans chasing Howard's limo? I would think if that happens enough times it could be a harrassment thing - why would those dummies (the pests) risk getting into trouble over this?

I thought they were hilarious. I heard both shows. While they were wusses for editing the stuff that bothered them, Bubba was still acting like a 10 year old girl. And then going on about how he gets upset when people call him by his real name. That was an invite for trouble. It will be interesting to see where it goes from here.
Yes I am a Howard fan, for 20+ years now. I think acting like a child on behalf of a radio show is stupid. In the end, none of the personalities care about us, they only care about the benjamins. Take it for what it is, entertainment. |

Dude, I think its fine if you're a fan. I understand the whole "allegiance" to a radio thing if the hosts are trashing each other (its kind of entertaining) but to take it to a level of going to an apprearance to yell at the dude - thats just not my thing.
I don't listen to XM and have been a Howard listener for about 15 years.
I think if you find a show entertaining you should listen. |

See, this is where your vision of reality is skewed. There is a difference between a fan and a pest. A fan is someone who enjoys listening to the show, and that is where it ends. A pest takes it many steps further and tries to be an active participant in the radio experience by harassing other personalities and their affiliates. He, as well as myself are "fans" of both shows. He understands that it entertainment and that the personalities from either side really don't care about us at the end of the day. Just enjoy the entertainment and leave it at that. ;) |

I just don't get it - Howard is all about free speech and such. Why do people who claim to be fans of his want to supress that in others? I don't think Howard would ever not want someone to do something that they enjoyed just because he didn't agree with it.
edit: I guess it's just the uber-fans on either side that act like this. I'm not even pointing a finger at anyone specifically (honestly) there are bunch of people who are faceless to me on here who seem “zealoted”. I guess some people are more passionate about stuff than others, which is pretty much the way the world works.

| I really do love Bubba. I catch the last hour of his show on the replay. He went off on those ass holes. I love that Bubba's like a pitbull. He has a great attitude when it comes to being a team player and I think he's a great addition to Howard 101. I really hope he runs into Opie and punches his lights out. |
