I know bubba said he wants to keep breaking into the bits so people recording them cant copy them and post online BUT FUCKING A, it's ruins the show... stfu and let your listeners enjoy the bit already.

I agree, I would like to listen without interruption.

the ned call was hilarious, then bubba broke in right before the best part and pracitically ruined it

It's his SHOW, and he's the HOST!
Misskitty
I am digging Bubba.

Anybody with basic sound editing knowledge can just edit out the breaks and put it all back together. He accomplishes nothing by doing it.

I don't like when he stops it, but the laughing and everything I don't mind.

I think Bubba needs a reality check on this issue.

Every show he's done on Sirius, since January 9th, is catalogued and posted by day on the internet.

The new Ned Only CD is also readily available on the internet.

And probably a lot, if not all of his pay and previously free content is somewhere around posted on the internet.

He should know all this, but by his actions of interrupting bits it doesn't seem to have sunk in. Interrupting a bit to laugh or comment is one thing, but to intentionally cut it up for this reason is a whole other story.

Anyway, Bubba, don't worry about it. John Doe in Ohio isn't gonna decide not to buy Sirius because he heard an uninterrupted Ned bit he downloaded from the internet. It would probably cause the opposite effect.

I would worry more about the quality of your radio show than keeping audio clips off the internet for your future CD project. Because eventually, that CD will be posted too. So it's a losing battle either way.

You raise a good point. There are also a shit load of people who download music for free from a variety of sites. I know damn well I do it myself.

However, I generally only download songs from bands that only put one good song on a CD. Every time the White Stripes, Pearl Jam, or Foo Fighters puts out a new CD, I pick it up the day of it's release even though the majority of the album has already been available to download.

It's my way of showing loyalty to the bands I've enjoyed for years. The same is true of the Ned bits. Even though they're widely available on line, true fans of BTLS and Ned mark's alike will order no matter what, to show their support for the show.

Who really gives a shit

Bubba putting his merchandise in such limited supplies is a bad move. First off, if you order a cd from Amazon, it takes a couple of weeks to arrive. Why should different rules apply for Bubba's store? Also, talking about the merchandise during the show is part of what gives Bubba's show it's charm. It is rough around the edges, and almost feels like you are sitting in the room with them. Howard is like a Hollywood blockbuster, and Bubba more like a good Indie film. I hope that Bubba's show is not trying to be more like Howards in it's presentation because we all know the last thing this world needs is another Stern clone. Every single person with a credit card, and a want for Bubba gear should be able to buy it. I say this because I have just been exposed to Bubba and crew for the first time thru Howard, but what if I didn't get that exposure until next year? Should I have to go to ebay and pay 30 for a Ned Only CD because Bubba made it a limited run? I am clammering to get my hands on anything from the crew since the show existed for so long without me knowing. I also wish Howard could put some of his bits on a CD. I would love to have the Cursemaster Jr track. So please rethink what you are doing Bubba. Maybe you need to think more seriously about your store. Riding shotgun with Howard means you are in the big time. Just ask your boy Hulk the difference between wrestling at the Apopka Fair and MSG. I say this with the utmost respect to Bubba and clan, but please keep things rolling as they are. Keep the show rough, there is a reason that the gear is flying off the shelves.

And we're the audience, No Audience No SHOW. He Fucking ruined the NED Storytime bit.

Love the show but completely agree with you, we pay to hear the bits uninterrupted. Find some other way to keep from stealing your shit Bubba.

I Totally and completely disagree here, in fact I only enjoy most of the bits on the show the first time they are played with bubba and crew laughing and talking about them, when they play them by themselves without stopping at all they seem more canned, boring and less funny. Don't stop the play by play mcgullicutty, it's the BEST part of the bits in my opinion...
nickbtubas
I don't think anybody here as a show on sirius radio and is as good as he is... IF bubba wants to break up the bits than good for him... If you don't like it than change the fucking dial and listen to OutQ faggot...
dirkdiggler
Bubba has a great show, but the bit breaking is annoying as hell.

Half the time he'll stop the bit and then go on some sort of a rant which totally discombobulates the whole deal.

I wouldn't be opposed to a little bit breaking here and there, but he does it every freaking 5 seconds.
