| After I updated my S50 with the 1.3 firmware, I get terrible signal reception. I never had a problem before, now it drops out all the time and I get Acquiring Signal and No Signal message all the time. Anyone else having this problem? |

| I did have a problem when I upgraded to the s50 from the starmate. First off the starmate has much better fm transmission. I went to Best Buy and spoke with one of the installers there. He had me change from 88.1 to 89.1. Then he had me hook up the small fm antenna to the s50 (it comes in the box, about a foot long). Now the sound is perfect. The only problem was the fm antenna kinda hangs there, but it works perfectly. Try this first. If it doesn’t work we may be able to try something else. |
