| Just finished watching this one… wasn’t all that visually stimulating of an interview, (her Sybian ride was pretty much a dud, although I was surprised that she even got on it at all). Anyway, the interview itself was pretty good! I liked seeing Benjy take a stance and try to get something more out of her, although he is a creepy looking fucker. :D |

This is my personal favorite Howard TV episode, and there were some positive changes implemented on the coverage of it. But, also some slight issues that have yet to be addressed.
First, Carmen Electra is probably my all-time favorite "hot chick" celebrity, so anytime she's on it's automatically great. There were some very nice lingering shots and slow pans on her body and face that were done superbly. I don't know if the order came down from Doug or DePace, but I loved the close-ups of Carmen's face and body. The interview was great, and Howard really got some juicy stuff out of her.
Actually seeing THIS interview is important because of Carmen's body language and non-verbal comminucation. I have to say that Benjy was on to something when he was grilling her about just what she and Howard have done together. It was amazing that she rode the Sybian!
The coverage of the Sybian ride was again a slight let down. Of course with Carmen's skirt, we really weren't going to see anything, but we still need more angles. Jameson made that ass-shot camera angle famous, and we needed that with Carmen. Truly, almost every camera in the place should've been zoomed in and focused on Carmen during her ride. I would also like to point out the two mic stands sitting unused in the background. Those two should be set up where Will and Gary are to give the rider more space and comfort. Also, I still would like to see a lower light level in the room/spot light on the riding area, as this would add even more comfort to the rider.
My second problem with this episode is the lack of "off broadcast" footage. Gary and the crew mention how up-close and personal Howard and Carmen were when they were saying goodbye, and this is something we should've seen on Howard TV.
The "Behind the Scenes" stuff with Jeff was only okay. There was more stuff with her assistant which would've been a nice bonus. Plus, more of Carmen walking around in the back would've been great. |

I thought the Carmen episode was absolutely superb but I agree with you guys on some counts. First, Carmen Electra has never looked more stunning. Her face is fucking gorgeous. The sybian ride was kind of anti-climatic but I heard the radio show, I wasn't expecting a "Savannah Samson-like" ride.
I completely agree with not having enough footage from the break. They were talking about how the chemistry was so electric and obvious and they show Carmen giving Howard a hug and making a comment about her being his girlfriend and that's it. I was kind of disappointed.
All in all, 10x better than the E! shows IMO. |

I noticed this too. It was definately filmed in a way that showcased the fact that a "hot Chick" was being interviewed. |
