A bad omen for the week was set last night, when nothing new showed up. With The Show on vacation this week, you can basically throw out the standard Daily Shows and of course the "fast forward friendly" Best of the Week. Let's face it, that's all that was really being loaded on a consistent basis.
Makes me wonder what, if anything, will be loaded.
At this point, I'm expecting recycled old stuff that was available at the original launch back in November. But if that's the case, then why nothing last night?
Did anyone out there actually get something new loaded last night? |

nothin new here either.... IMO if this week doesnt produce a large amount of sirius and old E! shows, then my opinion of the HSOD crew will be solidified...
ive had the service since november, and at first it was awesome, and there were little spurts of greatness with shows like the jeff the drunk compilation, but theres just been so many terrible shows and slow updates... ill stick out the year i paid for, but probably not more |

Just curious...do you have to sign up for 1 year at a time? Or can you go month-to-month?
If people can go month-to-month and the HTV folks start to see subscriptions decrease, maybe they'll take the hint that they need better content... |

This week should've been a week where Howard TV stepped it up. They really have so much material to use, that a week of original shows WITHOUT depending on the Sirius shows, is certainly not that much to ask.
I don't like feeling as if Howard TV is just a dumping ground for a video version of the show. I mean, I appreciate seeing the new shows on a daily basis, but is that all that this is ever going to be? The ads for the channel mention "Classic Stern", and "Exclusive Stern", and there really has been very little of either of those. |

| I go month to month and if nothing is updated this week from earlier in the year footage I WILL CANCEL friday night - I'll give them a few months to fire Goodstein or hire 4 extras to do his job correctly and then resubscribe - I already have 2 sirius subs and don't need a dud as a third. |

| I've been subscribing since launch in November, and i was curious about something... why were the first new things coming frommid feb @ the earliest... (daily and best of the week)? were there no camera's running during the fisrt month-plus? are they just planning on releasing the occasional interview in favorite guests or something? |

Yep. Unfortunately, I think that was the last thing anyone has received. That was on Sunday night, just that one show. Nothing last night from anyone. We'll have to wait and see what happens tonight.
Again, we can eliminate any Daily Shows, as well as the Best of the Week recap for this week. I'm not sure what that leaves us with, unless they reload the older shows from November or if they maybe have some new ones ready to load.
I hate to be pessimistic, but the no show last night was just a bad sign. |

Oh, hell yeah. There are like 50 to 100 shows off the top of my head that I would love to see, and have been waiting on. Not a good sign that we can rattle them off, and have yet to see them. It's gonna be 6 months since the original launch!
While I like the "Gary, I Want You Back" tape, there is only so many times that it can be reloaded (3 already) before I'm sick of seeing the "New" tag on it.
One thing that still blows me away, is all of the amazing In Studio music that has been performed over the years. You know they have all that stuff from the old E! days, not to mention the music in the new studio. I've always wanted a "Music" category, and it's weird that there isn't one. Maybe it's a legal thing? |
