I just scanned through the Tabitha Stevens Sybian episode (This is your sex life episode). This one seemed to be even more censored than the Tatianna sybian episode or the re-edit of the Machine episode. A long extended cut-away to Howard as she's mounting the thing, strategically placed angles and this time virtually no mid-range straight on shots. Even the Tatianna episoded showed a little penetration.
The weird thing is, in the same episode where once again they won't show a porn chick fooling with a vibrator, they SHOW A GUY EATING SHIT. Yes they show the clip of some dude EATING SHIT, yet won't show a porn chick use a dildo. Amazing.
I just quickly scanned through it quickly so maybe I'm being a little harsh, but I still resent PAYING for "EXPLICIT ADULTS ONLY PROGRAMMING", and instead getting HBO's Real Sex. |

It sucks that the only way to actually see the show "completely uncensored" is to be in the studio.
Holy shit is it annoying when they cut to Howard saying, "You gotta see this on Howard TV!", and I'm actually WATCHING Howard TV and wishing that I could see what he's reacting to. |

That's funny and true. Ya know hyping these sybian episodes and cutting out all direct crotch shots, is like hyping a big summer action movie, and when you go to see the movie all the explosions and car chase sequences have been edited out of the film. It's kind of just pointless.
I still really don't get what's going on. I know they just started advertising HTV on TV (Spike, A&E, Bravo, etc.) and maybe they're afraid if they show too much stations won't except they're advertising. The problem is they're trying to entice people to subscribe by positioning the channel as "explicit adults only content". Well, you can't have it both ways.
On my cable system the second you turn on HTV, in the corner of the screen there is a big yellow, flashing message "WARNING, EXPLICIT ADULTS ONLY CONTENT!!" You don't get that warning on HBO on demand. Only HTV and the other adult stations.
Even Howard said one of the reasons he was glad he didn't go to HBO or Cinemax is that there would still be censorship issues. Now if these show were being shown on HBO or Cinemax, I don't think anyone would be complaining about the way the shows have been presented. But this isn't HBO or Cinemax. It's a closed circuit on demand station, advertised as "EXPLICIT ADULTS ONLY CONTENT" that we all have to pay a premium to have access to. Once you make that leap in classification, and charge a premium as a result, to still hold episodes to an HBO type editing standard is just silly, and quite frankly not treating your customers very well, or being very honest.
And again, it's not about wanting porn. I don't even find Tabitha Stevens attractive. It's just plain irritatating to be paying for this, and at the precise moment something is occurring that's of intrest, you get a 30 second cut-away shot. |

Perhaps if we "mass cancel" after the Film Fest (unless of course they get their shit together) we will get the reaction from Stern that we want. I would not be hit with an early cancellation fee (they would credit the rest of the month) and to rejoin doesn't create any fee so I say if we can't get on the air to voice this opinion than we "mass cancel" for a week/month/etc
Don't get me wrong - I really love the idea of HTV but I am bored with the content already, it isn't enough and after a few days isn't fresh anymore....I will blast through the shows tonight and be dissappointed ....I am sure... |

its not like they get on the dildo. I watch a couple of the sybian shows and all the chicks do is put the dildo inbetween there legs and not inside them. I thought they put the didlo in side them but they dont. And most the chicks get on the attachment with nothing on it. What a waste.
