Just wanted to let other Sanyo plug n play users know that my unit died after a year and a half of use.

It worked great..... Until it didn't work at all.

Seems to me the problem with the unit is it get hot. I used mine as a home unit and left it on all day to use the FM modulator to deliver Sirius to any radio I was near at the time.

Seems this isn't good.

If you have a Sanyo plug n play and want to extend the life of it I suggest limiting the use of it.

I didn't see the loss of my Sanyo as a big deal since I went out and got an Xact replay unit (About 100 bucks for the unit and home kit). I went from cheap unit to cheap unit with extra features. I am loving the replay option by the way!

Side note: For those who signed up for Sirius online. There is NO option online for switching units. You will have to call for this. So have all your info, Including SIN numbers, Ready when you call.

Best of luck for those will Sanyo plug n play units.

Two months? I'd be pissed about that!

Did the warranty take care of you? Did they give you a new radio or whatever?
