| I've just got the cheapie lil Starmate. I have a home kit, then the signal transmits to all the radios in my house. Even strong enough to transmit to the radio outside when I'm out in the yard. :dontknow: |

| same here, I have the home kit and it's no problem to get the show on all my radio's. Just use a channel that doesn't have any/not too much signal from other radio stations. I have it set up in my bedroom and any radio that is on the Fm modulator set-up can get it. |

you already have a modualtor its in the sportster you just have to turn it on and then set the freq. and then set all radios in the house to the same freq. |

either your house is made of steel reinforced cynder blocks, or you need to try a different freq. to transmit too. |

You don't have the transmitter turned on. If you don't a radio near it will pick up the signal but it has to be fairly close. Press the menu botton until you see the "FM TRANSMITTER" prompt. Then click on it. It'll have the message "FM TRANSMITTER...ON/OFF" Click on "ON" and any radio anywhere in the area will pick up the signal if it's on the correct station setting. |

If you want to increase the FM transmitter's range, buy a $4 mono headphone with a mini plug from Radio Shack.
Cut off the headphone, and plug the wire into the "FM out" mini jack.
It makes the signal throughout the house even stronger! |

| I have the Starmate replay and that little sucker transmits pretty far for what it is. Sometimes I forget my Starmate and I will be driving around and if I have the station tuned to 87.7 down here in south florida I can't go 5 min without picking up someone elses transmission. Very cool. |

| And does anybody wonder why to date only 4 something million have crossed over? This technology has many folks stumped. I can't tell you how many people I've met who think they need to by a Sirius receiver for every room in the fucking house. |
