Detroit is strong but not unfallable. The Heat, Nets and Cavs can all do damage to them, if not beat them all together in the East.
I don't think Detroit can beat San Antone, Sunz or Dallas. |

Those were 1 game. Over a 7 game series, the Spurs have shown they can muster up with the best of them. Unfortunately so because I hate the Spurs and especially that punk Tony Parker. |

Detroit deserves it with the awesome season they had .. I'm not a Spurs fan or Pistons fan , I'm just using my honesty and sports knoowledge.. Don't ever count out San Antonio though , they still are probably the second best if not the first best team iin the NBA |

I wouldn't even consider that a challenge, make no doubt about it Detroit will be in the finals... There is 3 possibilities in the Western Conference
1. San Antonio
2.Dallas
3. Phoenix ( least possible of the 3, No. 2 seed makes it possible) |

Not sure i'd call 109-102 a smoke against the suns, considering the suns were beating them by 16 at the end of the 3rd quarter too. That will be the suns only downfall though, if they let go of those huge leads they muster up. Personally i'm a huge suns fan, but I dont know if they can make it, the way the playoffs are mapped out, they have a much better chance then I thought. I still gotta stick by the Kings though, I really think they can upset the Spurs in the first round with their speed and hard nose defense. Also considering the fact that Duncan is nursing that right foot still and having career lows in PPG, RPG, BPG, FG %, and has still played 80 games which cant be good for his body going into the playoffs. Ginobli will be swamped by Artest and they'll put guys like Jason Hart of Kevin Martin on Tony Parker to D up and tire him out, just to then have Bibby come in like a maniac and turn it up even more. Not to mention Bonzi Wells is doing better than he has in 3 years and then Brad Miller is doing really well. They could be the sleeping dragone, but even if they beat the Spurs in the first round i think they will be too tired or have too much taken out of them in that series to then beat the Mavs because of the Mavs continuous uptempo offense. As for the Suns, they'll beat the Lakers, you gotta be kidding me if you think otherwise. As far as the Clippers go, Dunleavy doesnt have what it takes, he makes stupid decisions when it comes down to strategy, ive watched the clippers all year long since I live out here and have a lot of friends that are fans. So basically your looking at a Suns-Mavericks matchup. Which can go either way, which is why I think the Suns have a chance to go to the Finals this year, but they if they did they would more than likely lose there if the competition was the Pistons. No matter how it comes out I think this will be one of the best playoffs in a long time, there are a lot of good match-ups. |

I think ESPN had the Lakers to lose second in the first round right behind Sacramento ... ..Lakers are screwed they have to play the Suns, Kings are screwed they have to play San Antonio... |

I agree, Im totally looking forward to the playoffs this year, more so than last year, Id love a Det-Phx finals, I think it be more entertaining than a Det-SA rematch... |

1-8 and 2-7. An upset from those seeds? If it does happen (and it does happen in the NBA), odds are that the Lakers or Queens will be the ones who cause it to happen. Detroit and Heat aren't going to lose in the first round. |

Any Team Phx matches up againts is exciting to watch .. Watching Marion fly and dunk from a Nash pass is pure excitement... |

Sunz are the heavy favorites. So of course, I have to "dream". But the Lakers are playing some of the hottest basketball in the NBA of the last 3 weeks and the Sunz would be foolish to look past them.
And haven't the Sunz been playing pretty poorly as of late? Losing 8 of the last 13 or something like that? |

Who knows might was well take it on easy street if you already have the No. 2 spot locked..The Suns just beat up on the Lakers all season, not to mention Raja Bell plays good defense on Kobe, Kobe still ights up the Suns for 50 points every time he plays but the Suns put up too many point too quickly .. The Lakers big men are way over rated too.. Run and gun will slow them all down except Kobe watch him score over 30 every night and the Lakers still lose .. Lakers fell off big time losing Shaq , had a good thing going there... |

I predict there will be at least 1 upset to the finals. And the Clippers over the Nuggets doesn't count.
It could be Memphis over Dallas. Queens over Spurs. Or the Cavs could upset one of the top 3.
I am hoping it will be the Lakers over the Suns in the first round. :D |
