| I have an older model Starmate and when you turn it on you just get a Sirius logo on the screen, any ideas. |

| I had the same problem. Its shot. I just bought a new one for $40 from radioshack and will send the bad one to sirius to be replaced under warranty. Radio shack told me Sirius will probably just send me the new starmate replay. |

I wonder if anybody besides Sirius is keeping stats on these shot receivers? My Xact Visor this evening decides to just shut itself of and on and off and on and off and on and off and on...you get the picture.
Is it shot? |

Well the decision was made and my Jockey is on its way back to the factory. In the meantime I bought the Visor to have as a back-up. I love it...the FM modulator is out of this world. If and when I get the Jockey back, I will use it for home and the Visor will be for the car. Time will tell how customer friendly these hardware manufacturers really are.
I still believe as consumers of radio hardware we're all fucked. It's all junk. Get used to it. |
