Dale Earnhardt Jr. is paying tribute to his father's 55th birthday this weekend by running a paint scheme that is Dale Sr.'s black paint scheme with the #8 & Budweiser decals for the Talladega race.
It is also honoring the fact that Dale Earnhardt is being inducted into the International Motorsports Hall Of Fame in Talladega this Thursday.

| did jayskis take the picture of the black 8 off his site? i don't see it on the dale jr scheme page. i'm kind of surprised to hear that jr will be running a black car so soon, but i guess he is ready to pay tribute to his father on the track. |

| yes all of DEI will run a version of the black car but JR's car will be ALL black. and remember dale JR. is the second winningest driver ever at dega with 5 wins, only his dad has more with 10. so YES he has a great chance to win and he is 7th in the points and having a good year so far. |

| sorry but I dont like open wheel as far as spectating goes because they cant bump or bang. as soon as their tires touch, its over, they crash. at least with nascar there is contact. which would i rather DRIVE? Formula 1 without question. But the best racing on the planet is Supercross/Motocross and they are the best conditioned athletes on the planet, bar none! |

???- They are all the same paint scheme. It's just that the Bud decals are all white. See pic on page 1. |
