| I don't think you'll be able to see a whole lot of the drama goin' on over there right now because any threads in reference to requesting moderators on the board or any threads sticking up for SFN get deleted pretty quickly without any explanation. All this while threads filled with personal attacks on other members (and their wives) along with some real nasty racial derrogations will go on for 7 or 8 pages and fall off of the front page before they get deleted. Yeah, I guess I'm a little disappointed. :mad: ... I'm all for free speech and all, but damn it's supposed to be a f'n fan site. Oh well, already alot of familiar faces over here. It's just a shame that things are going downhill over at the other place. |

jeez... you'd figure that he'd get the hint by now that things AREN'T okay over there by a long shot. I know from talking to a few of the other original members over there that they feel the exact same way.

the FEE keeps me away .. who in their right mind would pay to post .. supporting a site you love is one thing .. but mandatory pay to post is BS .... although Im sure the people are cool .. It must be nice to have $ to throw away on a MSG board |

When I heard about the NedTesticledude and HeatherWiz iggy I had to join up over there to see what was going on. The people there were very nice .. there's no doubt about that, but I can't stand the tech issues.
With 3,800+ members at $5 a pop you would think they could get a little more horsepower behind that thing. |

I understand that BW costs $ and alot of pests are/were "pesting" the site .. but Mutt has the right idea ... let everyone in and then make em pay for the higher board functions like AVs and Search ect. and ban the assholes as you come across them
I just cant imagine paying $ just to participate on a site ....
As I said earlier .. supporting a site you love with a donation is a different story

I don't intend this thread to be an attack on .net or the members at all (hell... now most of the original members are finding our way over here now, including me). The big problem is that there's been alot of hateful crap bein' posted over there and it's chasing away alot of good members (and Bubba)... basically because it's making it tough to have fun over there, and isn't what these forums are all about?... we go there to enjoy ourselves and discuss topics with other fans. I know that there are always gonna be people like that wherever ya go, but the big issue is that nobody's doin' anything about it. I'm appreciating the fact that Mutt and the mods here don't mind throwing water on fires like that before they get out of control. That's what's brought alot of us over here to the "dark side"...lol. |

| I would like to welcome all posters from the other forum and elsewhere. It seems some things are going down at the other site but I don’t post enough there to comment. Anyway we are all Bubba fans and there is no reason why we shouldn’t have fun over here should you guys and gals choose to participate with us. The Bubba forum at SFN has been growing a lot and it’s good to see. We should all have three goals, enjoying the show and helping it grow and just having fun. Again, welcome guys and gals, it's going to be a great ride. |

well... as I told Doug, if ALLLLLL of that crap equaled only "1 strike"... then I'd rather not hang around for number two and three. There's only so much bullshit that anybody can stomach.
If there are so many internal mods on the job there, then why the hell do some of those threads go on for days and days until just about everybody has gotten a chance to be disgusted in some way??? I mean hell... I've always been the guy that was more than happy to flame the flamers when they started shit... but damn, it would be nice to know that the admin would want to have our back.
As far as the anti SFN stuff goes... I've seen plenty of those threads go on for days, but even Tazdrummer started a thread the other day asking everyone to lay off of the anti-SFN stuff and that thread got deleted as well. Hell.... even back to that "Rat in our Ranks" thread referring to Jholinger... that thread got "stickied" for some damn reason, making it look like BTLS.net endorsed a war between the sites. I dunno... just still a little disappointed after all the time some of us have put in over there.

Its a shame. I was a .net-er first because I didnt want to deal with the SFN 30/30 etc etc. Its a good site from what I delt with but noticed the slowing of traffic and I had asked someone on there that seems to be a reg amongst the crowd and was basically told that people are going on there raising hell and talking some serious shit and its allowed and when someone tries to calm everyone down and keep things civil, its THOSE threads that are deleted :rolleyes: .
It was enough to make me suck up the 30/30 rule cause I dont have the $$$ for a donation to get past it. Im a happier bubba army soldier here but still cruise .net. |

| I'm still not sure what to make of all of this. I honestly wish Doug would have had my back from the beginning and done this simply because it was the right thing to do, and not just because Bubba said so. I and others had given the same speech that Bubba did regarding some of the assholes on the site... but I guess it wasn't an issue until Bubba said it was. Hell... when anybody else said anything close to what Bubba had said, their thread mysteriously disappeared. I dunno guys... I'm just still a little concerned after all of the thread deletions and shit like that going on.... I think I'll be hangin' out over here for a while. The SFN members have been more than gracious, and I doubt that anybody will ever have to tell Mutt twice to get rid of some non-fan asshole posters with bad intentions. |

That may not proove anything, but I think it says alot.

I figured you'd like it. This avatar was taken from my gaming review website. Last summer I wrote a commentary bashing Olivia and Annette after hearing some of their lies on the air, specifically involving the then released Sportster Replay. Being the assholes that they are, they decided to compare apples to oranges and bash the 44 minute playback buffer compared to the MyFi's 5 hour memory. But what those retards didn't realize was not only is the MyFi's memory management a total pain in the ass to use compared to the eventual S50, the proper comparison should have been to the SkyFi2, which would lose due to its mere 30 minute buffer.
I also made some disparaging comments about their show, and in particular, my disgust towards Jim Norton, who I do not find funny in the least. Needless to say the Cub Scout Troop didn't not take my opinion lightly and did an on-air version of "Assault on the Media," sending me tons of hate mail, spam ads for gay porn sites, and even subscribing me to women's magazines (where my company name is now called Shitdick, Inc.)
Since then I decided to get rid of my XM and am planning on destroying it after I go to my girlfriend's house and deactivate her Roady2 as well, replacing it with a Sportster. I also encouraged fellow Bubba Army members who are former XM subscribers to execute their radios. Hence the name XMECUTIONER.
But I'm rambling too much now. Take a look at the avatar, and let me know if it's not worthy of getting the gay:

Hey Mutt... first off, thanks for providing a great enviroment here for the fans. I was hoping that this thread wouldn't step on your toes here... Alot of us were having problems with the way things were going down on the other forum and this seemed to be the only way we'd be able to speak about it freely. I didn't want to get into a whole lot of specifics... the last thing I'd want is to put you in an uncomfortable situation. The best way that I can sum up my opinion of .net at this point is that I don't agree with the judgement of what content was allowed and what content wasn't. Regardless, I don't wish anything bad for that forum at all, there's alot of really good people over there that I still consider pals. I appreciate everything Doug provided for us, but hopefully he'll see that everything we were bitching about was constructive in regards to the future of the forum. |

Don't use the quick reply box at the bottom of the page. Sig's don't show up when you use that box. Click "Post Reply" button at the top and bottom right of the page and your sig will work then. |

the FEE keeps me away .. who in their right mind would pay to post .. supporting a site you love is one thing .. but mandatory pay to post is BS .... although Im sure the people are cool .. It must be nice to have $ to throw away on a MSG board |
Exactly my experience when I went to check out the site. Hell, man Wackfag dont even try to get money from ya! Bill o Reiley has one of those sites too. No pay, no play. Guess his message boards have nothing but love threads. At least Hannity dont charge for his message boards.

| I gotta be honest, this site runs so much more smoothly. I don't know if it's something I've done or what, but the pages on .net are really long, requiring unnecessary scrolling and the flashing boxes to indicate new posts don't quite work all the time. I'll still go there, but posting here is just plain easier. |
