| I really don't care that he is fake, but why does Bubba feel he has to lie to us? I love Bubba, and the whole show and crew (in a non faggot way) for their great show. I guess they don't have enough faith in their fans. All of the Ned bits stand very well all by themselves. We really didn't need to believe Ned was real in order for them to work, but i feel as if our collective intelligence as an audience has been made a mockery of by Bubba and his staff. |

First off, Bubba didn't lie to you. He provides entertainment.... everyone on that show is fake.... none of 'em are the same off the air. It's all about the product.
Second, insult your intelligence? Sheee-it! Bubba & crew put out a product.... Ned is but one small part of that product. Bubba figures that you are intelligent enough to grasp that fact.
Far from insulting us.... He was figuring that we'd all be smart enough to know that it was all in the name of entertainment.....

| I couldn't care less. I have thought he was Mason since I first heard him, and it is a hilarious bit. Literally everything he says is funny. That said, the guys can't admit this or a part of the whole Ned mystique dies. It is funny as hell and shows just how talented Manson is. Bubba's show is good stuff and he has surrounded himself with a lot of talented people. |
