For sake of arguement, let us say Ned is fake. Why in the Hell would you ever admit it.
Soooooooooooooooooooooo many "smart" people are obsessed with talking about him being Fake.
Lets say for sake of Arguement Ned is real.

| You are right. Ned has become bigger than Christ himself at this point. It actually makes no sense for Bubba and crew to admit Ned is fake if he actually is. I would never admit it because it keeps everyone talking about him and as Dale Earnhardt once said, don’t worry about them talking bad about you, worry when they stop talking. Howard has pretty much taken this theory and run with it all his life and it’s served him well. |

Damn straight, I wouldn't do anything to "prove" he was real for that matter.

I was just about to post the exact same thing. The clear channel thing was bullshit all along.
Bubba made it sound like just before he got on the air all of a sudden a bunch of lawyers showed up in Tampa to stop him.
Ned being a bit is one thing but dragging your audience through at least a month of hype for a big pile of shit was another. |

| Howard 100 News interviewed "Ned" on the Red Carpet at the film festival............like a little kid holding on to the hope that Santa was real I wanted Ned to be real but that clip was the kicker. The voice was obviously NOT the voice of NED in studio. He tried but couldn't pull it off. Either way, he's one funny bastard even though it's just a character. |

EXACTLY!!! I think I laugh harder at those who go all Sherlock Holmes with their proof that Ned is fake than I do at anyone who insists that he is real. The joke is much more on those people than it is on anyone who takes it at face value and believe it. |
