Ned broke my nose on the red carpet

While listening to the red carpet interviews I heard Shuli call for Ned...I didn't think Ned would talk...but when he did I was discombobulated...so as I reached for the starmate replay control I scared my cat and he jumped back hitting me in the nose with his head...well, blood gushed out...I screamed...went to emergency room...now I have to see a specialist because not only is my nose broken but the xrays showed something in my sinuses. I missed the rest of the interviews and the after show since I just now got home...
Today was not a good day...

Ohhhhh, I am sooo sory to hear that . I hope you are not in too much pain. You may have to call the guys tomorrow and request something from the "rattler"

Hi Jaeger! I'm pretty fixed up on pain meds...broke my leg and hand about two weeks ago...its been a bad couple weeks. My face is so swelled up right now so it's uncomfortable.
What all went on after the red carpet? I'm listening to the bubba replay but I really wanted to hear the after festival activities.
Hopefully they will replay all weekend. Guess I won't be doing much except listening to the Bubba show and Stern show... |

If it didn't hurt so much I would laugh...I think I'm going to get rid of my pets...they are dangerous! Fell down in my backyard chasing the dog and cat and fractured my leg and hand...now this because of Neds voice! The doctor asked me what happened and I told him about Bubba The Love Sponge...what surprised me is he listened to Bubba back a few years ago. I told him about Sirius so he said he would probably buy one. What a way to advertise BTLS and Sirius...oh and Ned. |

Hi hon :hug: ...I'm in severe pain...my face is swelled up and my nose is broken. The fracture is up deep between my eyes. When I was listening to the red carpet interviews I was relaxing on my bed...my cat (black cat named Eli) was next to me...I heard Shuli interview Ned and couldn't believe it was his voice..so I sat up fast to hit the rewind and I scared the cat and he jumped hitting me right smack dab on my nose with his head...blood gushed out of my nose and the rest is history...So thats how Ned broke my nose on the red carpet. Evidently Eli and Ned had a secret conspiracy against me.

I slept a couple hours until the pain meds wore off...I just took some more, so until they kick in I'm here. How was your night? |

Short, I'm all nerved up. my last day to pack, before I drive my family and move to florida in the morning. and I'm of course running into all the usual problems.

Where are you moving from? I would be afraid to move to Florida with the possibility of a more severe hurricane season this year.
At least you have your satellite radio to listen to while you drive!

| Moving from Detroit back to the Tampa Bay Area. I start a new job Monday, so I don't really know what the schedule for radio will be just yet. My office is right in the center of a building sooooooo I hope to god they get streaming quick, OR I can wrangle an office near a window. |

What kind of work do you do? Wow, that is a long drive...you'll be exhausted on Monday. I had a friend that lived in Port Huron, MI. It snowed there...what a difference in climate from MI to Florida. I like Las Vegas climate because of the low/no humidity.
Well, meds are kicking in so I'm going to go lay down a bit. I have percocets 10/325 and oxycontin. I hate taking pills...but pain is worse than the pills.

| Dont get me wrong, Im not breaking balls here, especially those who dont have any but the odds of this happening vs. IheartNY's issue is far less likely and yet nobody called BS on this lol. Im not saying its not true and I do give benefit of the doubt, I just found it funny. |

just make sure you get the maximum refills on your pain pills....I'd be glad to take any extra's off your hands....Oh, and sorry to hear about your nose, that must suck. What is it with all the chicks in our little darkside here? Everyone's getting hurt or ill or somethiing..... |

I've had some strange things happen to me in my life...and this is not the strangest. I doubt anybody could make this up to begin with...for those that know me on here know it's true. I'm in so much pain right now I'm waiting for meds to kick in. |

Eli is fine...I made sure he wasn't hurt after I got home from the hospital. I'm in pain and look like hell :cb:

It's absolutely true. In fact I found out today I have to surgery on Thursday because there is some kind of a blockage. Now when my cat "Eli" see's the remote for the radio he takes off like a bat out of hell.
