I saw Lewis Black on live about a year ago up on campus here in manhattan ks, and he was FUCKING FUNNY!!! I am a moderate, but went with a staunch republian friend of mine. Black might as well have been talking about my friend the entire show. It was pretty funny. He didn't laugh once. |

I'm feeling oh so much better without all that packing jammed up in my skull. It was painful when the doctor suctioned out crap way up in my sinuses...it's like a small vacuum and it cleans up the debri. I was thinking after all this I should have had a nose job... |

Bush's only change in the Armed Forces radio network was to add Rush Limbaugh so he could lie to the troops for an hour a day during the election.
The New York Times is in fact liberal and is in the same town with Murdoch holdings like the oldest newpaper still in publication The NY Post, the uber conservative Wall St Journal and the Right leaning Daily News.
Clear Channel one of Bushs biggest financial supporters and the largest owner of radios stations in the country caved in to the Bush FCC and is now begging them to regulate Satellite radio after 5 million people signed up for XM and 4 million signed up for Sirius. A friend of mine works at a local radio station run by Clear Channel. They were given a memo from the corporate head of programming that said for the 4 months before the election that ALL the following songs will be played at least once every 120 minutes.

And dont get me started on lapdog Alan Colmes. He is hand picked by Fox to be Hannitys punching bag. He operates under a set of rules given to him that include never challenging Hannity with any facts and to shut up during most of the interviews. And when he does pop up and make a point they go into damage control mode. A couple of weeks ago they had the kid that taped his teachers supposed anti Bush lecture and sent it to a local NEOCON talk show host. Hannity interviewed him with leading questions like a DA deposing the victim. Then when Colmes asked him a simple question like if you had a problem with the lecture why did you
A. Not talk to the teacher about it.
B. Not talk to the Principle about it
C. Not talk to your parents about it
before secretly taping it and having it run edited on the local Limbaugh imitators radio show?
The idiot kid became flustered from this simple question and fumbled thru the same prepared answers he had already given Hannity even though they had nothing to do with the question he was asked. Hannity then jumped in, bailed him out and quickly ended the live interview. The next night the same moronic kid was interviewed over again with the same questions by Hannity where he gave the same answers but wasnt allowed to be questioned by Colmes.
Even the set shows what crap Fox is. Fox is so scared that someone might actually believe Colmes that they even set Hannitys chair and his half of the set up 8 inchs higher to make him look bigger than Colmes.

I’ve seen debates about that and most seem to think it’s tied with the middle east…mainly S Arabia. You are correct that Canada has a huge oil reserve but it’s mixed in with sand and expensive to process. |

My wife works for the company that uses and process the oil from the "Oil Sands". The company made over 300 Billion dollars last qtr. I have mixed feelings about this. It pays our bills, but then again, it keeps American dependent on "Foreign" Oil. Yes, Canada's oil is still "Foreign" Oil |

Europe also helped make us a super power and very wealthy after WW2 because we were one of the few countries with manufacturing capabilities. Wouldn’t you say that is quite a return on the original investment? |
