I wish i had heard of Bubba first but I've had Sirius for about a year now. First I heard of Bubba was on the Covino and Rich show on Maxim and his bits got me more excited about Bubba coming than Howard. :)

I was never able to hear Bubba's show on Terresterial Radio. Howard was the reason I bought Siruis, but I have been hooked on Bubba since 01-09-06.

I came here for Howard and Bubba was a bonus. I think some of these one hour special shows are a waste of programming space though. There are a few that are good but I really don't give a crap about Red Peters, Miserable Men, that new Richard Christy porn show, etc.

The Superfan Roundtable, Meet The Shrink, Brent's War Chat show, The Daily Wrap Up Show, and even the Howard 100 news are staple shows that should remain.

If they keep adding programming, they will probably need a 3rd channel soon even though some of the programming now will be short-lived like the Riley Martin show. How long can the guy talk about aliens and his trips to outer space before he starts repeating himself?

Serious question, if you're not a big Howard fan, how did you know that Bubba was going to be on Sirius? If it wouldn't have been for Howard, there is no way that I would have even known that Bubba was joining the team.

For the record, I bought Sirius for Howard and Bubba is a very pleasant bonus surprise. With all the content on Sirius, I think I would keep it if Howard left after 5 years and Bubba stayed.

I got SIrius so I could hear Bubba again and also so I could start listening to Howard. I had never been able tolisten to Stern, Tampa did put him on a shitty AM station that had the power of crappy CB. So i didn't get to hear the show much. But now I listen every day. Love both showes ( In a non faggot way).

I don't know. He was only syndicated in like 5 cities: Tampa, Okeefanokee, Boondocks, The Sticks, and Bumfuk Egypt.

Howard being here was a plus. Bubba made me put my money up
ninja_bcore
i came for howard, i wont lie, but like i would miss his show all the time and would listen to bubba. I think if you got spoiled by how out there bubba is and wut he did you seem howard as tame in comparision. I heard bubba a little in testical radio when he was in ct but i always went back to howard, i would listen to bubba only durning howards 20-30 min comercial breaks.

I had to look at the author twice. Damn this post surprised me and now I feel dirty because I have to agree with everything you put into this post. :D

I've listened to both Howard for years, then I moved to sunny FLA. I was in between tampa and orlando so I could get both shows for a while. Howards 20-30 minute commercial breaks gave me a chance to listen to Bubba a bunch.

Purchased for Howard only because he announced it first.

And never cared to purchase XM because it seemed like their talk was just a syndicated version of 104.1 out of orlando for a while, and that was free for me to hear.

Originally I subscribed to Sirius for; HardAtak, Octane, and Alt-Nation. As a truckdriver, I have a huge appetite for entertainment, as you probably guessed -being on the road so damn much. Fm stations got to be a drag, Cd's are ok, but it's just not as entertaining without the talk, and occasional breaks.

After subscribing I heard Howard was coming to 100/101, and it was a blessing. I still listen to the other stations, but usually I'm on 100/101. Bubba is just an added benefit to the whole package, as is Ferrall. I love this stuff.

I ordered SIRIUS because of Bubba.

I'm originally from Tampa and loved his show on 98Rock.

I never really ever listened to Stern - I didn't have much of an opinion on him either.

As far as how I knew Bubba was going to be on Sirius, I just occasionally used to check his website and see if there was any news - and there it was one day.

I think Bubba was a little better on old-fashioned radio.

Why? 4 main reasons:

1 - He cares too much about what the SFN says.
2 - He talks WAY to much about NASCAR
3 - WAY too much Gene Lasker
4 - The absence of "carney"

Spice Boy is a HUGE step towards bringing the Bubba show back to where it was.

BTW, Bubba should play the song Manson made about Stern a long time ago... to the tune of Sugar Ray's "Every Morning"

"Every morning there's an asshole coming from the speakers right next to my f-in head... I check the station and it s Howard - can't believe it - cause I thought that old f-er was dead... I just can't understand...what he's talking about... Once again Stern said something, Robin Quiver's fake laughed so hard that she drowned him out...."
GolferKid
wow, so your vote was bubba was better on testicular?

A little bit better....

But with Spice Boy back in the fold, that should all change...

so after two days with spice boy do you still think he use to be better? or do you think it will take more time?
limeinmycorona
I've been a long time listener to Bubba since the Power Pig and 98 Rock days, so as soon as I heard he was on Sirius, I signed up. I had never listened to Howard before joining Sirius, but now I listen to him just as much as Bubba.
svvish
Signed on for Stern and now I listen to bubba more than him. Stern is the man and I catch his replay most of the time, but I never miss a bubba show.
dogpatchusa
sign up when i found out howard was going to sirius so that was a while ago and could hardly wait for him to get there when it started 01/06/06 it was the greates and then he added bubba and i have been a bubba fan since then listen to howard on the way to work and at work then at lunch turn up one channel and listen to bubba the rest of the day and trip home god it great to be a carpenter so i do not have to worry who hears my radio :D
THE BLACKGOLD
I've had Sirius for a few years now.

Before Stern, and before Bubba.
AMR40509
Signed up in Aug 2005 to use on the lake where FM reception is spotty at best and I don't want to have to mess w/ CDs. Now it's all I listen to; in the car, at the office, on the lake.

I didn't come to Sirius for Bubba, but I can tell you, now that I have him, I can't live without him! I freaking love that show. I'm addicted to it much like many of you are addicted to SFN.
Howard's Hymen
I had actually never heard Howard until I got Sirius. I'm addicted now. I had heard Bubba before, probably cause I'm in Georgia. I didn't necessarily get Sirius for either one of them but am certainly enjoying it now.

so did you get it for the music?

and if so what made you pic it over xm? (whos music selection sucks- i know cuz i had it befor howard came to sirius)
shckcolrjones
Got it for Howard, but will keep it for Bubba. Never heard of him before January. I can't listen during the day, but find myself staying up until 1am(PT) to listen to the replay even though I could listen to Howard. I still love Howard though.
Dawn Patrol
I like Bubba he has some funny ass stuff happening and Ned is awesome. Howard is the king though, and lets face it no one else on the planet aside from Ass Limbaugh could pull off the deal Howard got to come to Sirius. As a side note I hate Limbaugh! Bubba is a direct side effect of what pull and power Howard has. Long live the Ultimate King of all Media Howard Stern!
Estevan
I joined for Howard and liked Bubba at first but I can only take him in small doses. He beats all of his sayings into the ground, and they get old really fast.

I've never heard of Bubba until he came here. I'm glad he's here though. Although I only listen to the first hour and a half and that's it.
