It is interesting that Howard Vs CBS lawsuit is in settlement talks. I knew from Howards professed hatred for Moonves that if it were up to Howard he would never settle the lawsuit and drag Moonves into court and humiliate him publicly. On the other hand Mel Karmazin being the respected CEO of a media industry giant he knows how to smooze his collegues and employees into submission. I wish Howard would just shut up and let the elders handle the dispute.

This morning on the Howard Stern Show Howard expressed some true feelings about Sirius Satellite Radio CEO Mel Karmazin allegedly giving his table at a New York eatery to CBS Radio's Les Moonves and his wife Julie Chen.
The Story is that upon completion of his meal that Mel gave his table to the man who currently has a lawsuit against Stern that also names Sirius.
Stern stated that he would never give his table to Moonves, and expressed his feelings by stating, "If Les Moonves and Hitler were waiting for a table, I would give the table to Hitler."
Seems that Howard is still a bit peeved at Les. |

| Leslie Moonves isn't suing Mel Karmazin. So why does Mel Karmazin have to take Howard Stern enemies to be his enemies as well. Leslie Moonves is a powerful man in the entertainment buzness. They probably have to work together some time in the future so why not stay cordial. |

| I love Howard, but what's the issue? Would we rather lose the lawsuit, but keep the f-ing table? See it for what it is. Mel giving Leslie a table, a few days BEFORE leslie loses his lawsuit. |

| Mel has betrayed Howard Stern, and Howard never forgets disloyalty. In five years when the contract at Sirius runs out, Howard Stern may be less inclined to resign. He may even go to XM if they are not dead yet. I hope Howard Stern doubles his contract money in five years and soaks Sirius. |
