Yeah, yeah... That's all fine and good. But I really don't give a bleep about the MP3 stuff or the fact that XM is being sued.
What I'm talking about is the fact the XM is now on their 2nd generation live-reception walkman device and Sirius still hasn't released their 1st.
I know it is supposedly coming this summer... but this is WAY too long for us to wait. I know Sirius doesn't want to release a device that is not perfect and that might get crappy reception, but how can it be taking this long? XM has now made improvements to the reception of their handheld device and their subscribers are benefiting as we speak.
This thing better be PERFECT when it finally is released. And it better NOT cost $499.99! |

| Expect that the price will be compareable to what the Inno is. I doubt it will be $499, more likely $399 plus the cost of the home kit just like they did with the S50. |

| Sirius DOES have a Walkman type unit. It is the Xact Xtra1. Granted you need to buy the POD for $99 to make it portable, but it has been out there for quite some time. It is a first generation device. I have had it for over a year with no troubles. It was recently removed from Sirius' web page, I presume in anticipation of the S50 live device. |

jesus, some people are SUCH cry babies! :cb:
This is all new technology. being at the cutting edge means dealing with the hardware and the software that is still being developed.
take the good with the bad.

It's going to be a while before the average person pays 500$'s for a "portable" radio.
If Sirius really wants to take off and get some new subs, they'll have the lower that price drastically.
If not, only people like us (stern fans) and people with lots of money that are really into Sirius will buy them.
They really need to start reaching out to the average person...who doesn't have 500$'s to spend on a portable unit. |

| the wearable unit is supposed to come out next month. honestly, unless you live in a big city, any satellite walkman XM or Sirius won't be as good as you are hoping. You'll still have the same antennae issues you have now. |
