This is what happens when leadership at the NCO level breaks down.
If you want precedent, look up the 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry, 101st Abn, Tiger Force. I served in the 2nd battalion of the 327, and when I was in 70-71, many years after the TF, orders would come down the COC and include the phrase - "No Tiger Force Bullshit!"

I was discussing this months ago on Usenet, it's not a new issue.
again, it's a self-inflicted would. If we didn't bypass all the resistance on the way to Baghdad and then foster the very insurgent groups that are killing our troops, a bunch of combat weary kids who are sick and tired of getting blown up in their vehicles wouldn't have lit-up that place. |

That's right. It would be very boring if everyone always agreed on everything...
For the most part I can have very civil discussions with most who are more conservative than I, except for a couple of the far right zealots.... But then they probably see me as the same, only from the left...
That's what makes America great, IMHO. We all care enough to fight over it ;) |
