well, anyway.....to me the roasts - all of them have been fantastic. the idea of them, the execution, everything. great radio!
i love Rappin' Granny on the sybian. believe it or not. it's because she was being real - she's not acting (not like those porn stars). whatever the hell she experienced on that thing was REAL. I can't say exactly what it was, but it was great knowing that someone in their 80's was having a New experience.
I love the time they had a long extended conversation about Fred's (lack of) sex life. I have always found Fred endlessly facinating and the more relaxed atmosphere of Sirius made this discussion possible in a way that just never happened on crap radio. And I love how the discussion continued into the AfterShow.
I love Gary's stories on the Friday show and the AfterShow. I don't remember a particular story - i just like knowing Gary will come out with something fascinating any minute now.
I love the news (and i'm not just kissing yer little jew ass) :hw:
I love how the news is part of the show, is outside of it, weaves it's way around it. the Whole concept. love it love it love it. |

Shuli, why don't you call your hardcore go-to superfans for this kind of in-a-pinch story? I'm always available by cell. I'm sure that's also the case for copter, fstick the faeg, jms397, Mooby, LeeHarveyIdiot, etc.
Before 1/9/06, the H100 Reporters never hesitated using the phone to get ahold of us for soundbites/contributions. Since I'm on the west coast, I'm not usually available to see a time-sensitive thread like this until noon on the east coast. However, Mike Piazza, Steve Langford, Michelle, Lisa, and you never had trouble reaching me by cell and letting me know that you'd be calling me back on my corded house phone a few minutes to an hour later.
You know I'm always willing to help you guys out...I love you man. :mtears: |

You've been neglecting the MM forum. People are asking about you (probably the same question you aren't ready to answer here). You could've asked some folks over there. Or maybe stickied something here in Gen. Chat reminding us to look. Good News about this forum, it scrolls less fast - bad news - people forget about it.
Now that Howard can use the Krock stuff, see if he'll let the news do a special on the 2004 Get John's Job contestants. The best bits with each contestant could be played, then discuss where they are now. I could be more than 1 show, maybe run it during Howard's next vacation.

i have no complaints, but i do have a concern. this am it was brought out thate boy gary doesnt like george flowers. he began to express his opinion and why he didnt like george..
i mean absolutely no disrespect at all. but i must say that i have a few concerns. as an employee of the howard stern show, i find it curious that a main player in the news dept, seems to be a lil bit insuborninate. again, i mean no disrespect..but this is a major thing. howard has always surrounded himself with those that "love and support" him. it would appear to me, that would also include the news department.. if someone has a problem with what is going on in the show, how then is that being subbordinate??
this is only a concer, and i mean only to respond to what had been brought up..please know, that i love the news and how you cover it. i only want the best for what i consider to be the best show in the world..

i don't think George Flowers can be "insuborninate" to Gary. Gary isn't his boss. it's more of being equals (at least in my view).
Maybe what you are asking is why doesn't George seem enough of a team player to not be so fussy about saying certain things in front of colleagues??
Of, course, we haven't actually heard these things that george may have said and more importantly we haven't heard the TONE. I can understand Gary's point, however. I'd be bugged too.
Maybe getting it out in the open made George see Gary's position ("This feeds my kids"). Anyway, I still like George and think he's professional enough to handle things properly from now on. |

OK, i still havent any complaints.i would however like to say that the concern previosly stated, may in fact NOT BE INSUBORNIATION, but rather, maybe a lack of understanding of the show. i say this because , again, i mean now disrespect mr. flowers, but i still think maybe it has something to do with POSSIBLY not quite getting what the howard stern show is all about. i will leave it at that and say that i do enjoy listening you on the news,and i think that ya have a great voice. i would however want for maybe you to have a better understanding of the stern show.
now that being said, i wanna say something else, if i may. i totally enjoy listening to shuli. i likre his take on stories, i like the way that he digs deep for his stories. shuli has, since the crapathon, been as far into the show as possible. now that i have done my pitch for my lijewyjewmwn, may i say that i hate that i dont hear more news.
i am so afraid that thw news is gonna go away..please dont let that happen, we all love the news..so there ya go, have a good nite and thanx for listening.. :p |

I think you need to do a show exploring why the miserable men show isn't being recognized as it should be. That show is funny as hell. Not some sideshow geek crap like the alien nut you guys share the slot with, but an honest funny as f show. You guys kill. Your 3-hour show was the best.

I honestly don't have a favorite moment. I've pretty much been loving everything on the show. I've particularly enjoyed Eric the Midget, Crazy Alice, Dan the Song Parody Man's songs, Rachel Hunter stiffing the show, and since 1-9-06 no more restrictions, no more FCC, and no more bullshit (how's that for being a shill?) |
