Got in my car today and went to hook up my receiver. It didn't turn on. Later on when I got home, I tested it with my home kit, and it worked fine. I got the power cable from the car and hooked it into my adapter and tried it in my house to make sure it wasn't the car fuse. That didn't work either. The piece of shit power cable went on me already and it hasn't even been 3 months.

I called Sirius and told them about it. They said it's under warranty and if I wanted I could send the entire radio package in (antenna, power cable, receiver) but it would take around 15 days to get my replacement power cable out. He suggested that I just "buy a new one" from tss-radio.com for "no more then 10 bucks, and that includes shipping". I went on the site, and it's 13. 6 for shipping. The total came to around 20 bucks.

Talk about scams. Any other company would've just sent me a replacement CABLE over night.

Such bullshit.

That is kind of fucked up.

Did ya check Radio Shack for a cable. However it does suck! Kinda makes me wonder when/if I will have the same issues.

Happened to me a couple weeks ago, just went to best buy and
bought a universal adapter, it's a bit gigger, but it's a brand name so it should last, cost me under $10cnd, so that's what .67centsU.S.? :D
