| While that article does sound refreshing, I suspect it will all be in vain if we don't secure the border. Its like trying to sail a boat while bailing out the water coming in through a 3 foot hole using only a shot glass. You can bail like mad but if you don't fix that hole you will eventually sink. |

Perhaps, it would be more telling to show how many illegals are getting arrested and how many are getting into this country each day. If we are taking in about 1 million illegals per year ( a number I have heard several souces say), thats 2700 per day. So they would have to round up and deport that many per day just to keep the current level of illegals the SAME. We haven't even begun to talk about the 11-20 million that are already here.
If our founding fathers could see Bush's actions they would have him swinging from the end of a rope. |

How are they trying you retard. The Border guards have been severely understaffed though-out the Bush presidency. He has allowed MILLIONS of illegals in the country and now makes a few round ups and plays it like he's tough on illegals. You are retaaaaarded. |

The border thing is nothing but a play to the base. Any real threat trying to get in will just come in legally, like every one of the 9/11 hijackers.
Stuff like this is nothing but a wink to all the white power people, and those who buy the line that it's immigrants, not billion-dollar corporations, that are screwing up the country. I guess the rolling blackouts in california were the fault of immigrants and not Enron's greed.
