| I have cablevision. Whenever I try to resume a show that I had stopped, it restarts from the beginning. Anyone else experiencing this? |

I don't have Cablevision but are you saying that you are using the Resume menu and when you view a show from there it starts from the beginning?
If that's the case, you should contact CV tech support for In Demand. |

Cablevision is good. I can start and stop a show whenever I want. My Dad has Patriot Media and it's not as good as Cablevision. With Patriot you have to go all the way to the Main On Demand menu. With Cablevision you can browse through Howard TV exclusively.
I'm glad they have close to 20 shows plus in each section.
Wish he could get clearance for music performances on HTV, Howard is the King of All Media for God's sake.
Looking forward to the Artie Roast and JD and Shy Love from Jamaica eventhough it was a bust live on the show! |

| I have CV and sometimes the resume function works and at other times the show restarts. Call CV and let us know what they say. |

| Yes, I am on Long Island and have CV. Over the last 2-weeks, just about every time we went back to pick up where we left off with an episode, the "resume" option was not available. Which of course meant fast forwarding thru the program to get back to the point we wanted in the show. I have no answer other than try rebooting the box as that seems to fix - at least temporarily. |

it might be that it times out. I think it only holds the resume view for 24 hrs.
If you resume to watch it from the original showing you must watch it again within the 24 hr window. Just a guess, but call the cablevision. I think thats how it works here.
Do you get closed captioning on Howard TV there? You know the small lettering of what they say across the bottom of the screen?

once you stop an episode, you have only a certain amount of time to resume(from the point you stopped it).....after that you
have to "re-order" it..... |
