Now that we have found out that Saddam lied (imagine that...I wonder what else he lied about...hmmmm) about destroying all of his pre 1991 WMD, I am a little concerned for AB. I mean, if your most trusted dictator lies to you, just who can you trust? (because that is the entire basis for believing that Saddam had no WMD) All this after the strident defense of Saddam, and especially now after AB was called as a character witness at the Saddam trial. I am sure he is heartbroken to learn this news. I am sure he will be seeking out counseling anytime soon.
I guess we can now say..Saddam lied, people died... |

I no longer watch Hannity & Nerd, so I missed this last night, but it looks like Santorum is trying to pull out all stops. I did a google news search & this story is no where (oh yeah...the "liberal" media is to blame).
I guess wanting to wipe his ass with the Constitution isn't helping his cause (which is what the gay marriage & flag buring bullshit is), he's going to pull this stuff out of his hat. |

I guess you missed the fact that the Defense dept. said it wasn't true..... But don't let facts get in the way of your desperate need to justify your illegal war.
And isn't Hoekstra one of the idiots peddling those documents you keep using as a source, but the government refused to vouch for...?
I know it gives you sexual release to believe I "support" Saddam, but I don't need Saddam's word to know your war is bullshit. The inspections already told us that.

| Most countries develop and build weapons to prepare for a battle or war they may have to fight. Apparently, Iraq decided to just hide those weapons and lose the war purposely. That's the Republican theory. |

what i find funny is they are talking about 500 some pieces of outdated WMDs - you think that Bush has total knowledge of all the WMDs we have and how many have been deactivated? To put forth that Saddam lied knowingly about having these and using that as proof to justify the war is just as sickening as the 'stay and die' approach we currently have in Iraq |

You know Mike, we left *Many* weapons caches unguarded because Rummy thought we had enough troops to sack Baghdad, secure the WMD sites and quell any civil unrest.
You know what Mike, one out three is fucking horrible because it cost American lives!
Thank God there was no WMD or who fucking knows where it would have ended up!

Sorry, bud...you trust Saddam when he gave the inspectors the run-around in the late 90's, you trust Saddam for the 4.5 years that inspectors were not in Iraq, you trust that Saddam didn't let the inspectors interview Iraqi scientists out of Iraq just before the war. During all these times, you trust that he wasn't hiding anything, wasn't lying about anything, and wouldn't dare try to move anything.....You trust your friend Saddam, I don't, neither did Bush...and the WAR that we are all involved in is not bullshit...I would just hope for your sake, that a chemical weapon let loose from some Islamic wacko doesn't kill you before you finally understand that. |

For operations security reasons, I can’t disclose the exact number of munitions that have been found because of possible force protection implications. |
And maybe you can tell us exactly WHAT conflict Iraq was involved in before the 91 Gulf War, and WHO helped supply them with weapons in that conflict?
Maybe we can dig up Ronnie Raygun's smelly carcass and ask him where those weapons came from? Maybe Rummmy?

The biggest problem for the robots that are still supporting Santorum on what has now turned into the very thin argument that "Saddam lied," is this:
He probably didn't lie about these munitions. They were *dug up* from what was basically a garbage dump. They were useless and they *were* disposed of -- buried like all garbage -- just like saddam said. |

The argument that he is a poor choice is not valid. We live in two party ( for all intents and purposes) system and to valididate his worth on a few narrow issues is absurd.
