funny. cause about 2-3 months ago there were a bunch of people... a whole lot more than those on this board, that were complaining about not getting replays of the show... and GUESS WHAT?!?! because they complained and sent howard emails, we ended up getting replays
we dont hate the concept of HTV.... HTV is fucking awesome... we just arent happy with the way its being presented.. and we are doing what we can to IMPROVE it... not get rid of it |

My only point was a lot of people like HTV. Geting everyone to cancel threatens the existiance of the show. It should not be on a pro-Howard website. It is a boycott and is not a fair or effective way to promote change.
I won't respond to the no-brained idiot comment except to say it one of the weakest insults I have ever seen on any board. |

MY opinion is obviously two sided - I WANT TO KEEP HTV and things were not being done in a way I felt was worth my subscription price. As for the no-brained idiot comment - check your grammar and spelling and it kind of speaks for itself. I am here as a fan and always as a fan always. |

I LOVE HOWARD TV !! I PAY FOR IT WITHOUT HESITATION !! I do have content complaints. If I post them, will I get banned or chastised by those who think they will somehow gain something by acting as if Howard might pat them on the back someday?

Thanks Hitler, Its called an opinion learn what america is all about. Obviously you don't know what Howard stands for its the 1st amendment and voicing by whatever means possible. Cursing, Sex, Talking about issues that the regular media is too afraid to admit. Thats why Howard is so happy on Sirius. Get a god damn clue we aren't bashing Howard Stern we are bashing the poor product thats been put out on Stern T.V. If we didn't like Howard we wouldn't have the service dipshit. We aren't happy with the product being put out its poor quality and they've had 8 months to perfect it. Yet we get re-runs, Dick shots, No pussy, and we have to wait too long for major events. This is not the product we were promised when we signed up. Howard Stern on Sirius is great and we want to be right there just like the guys are on the show and see everything. However the film crew does the shitty job they edit too much don't zoom in on shots the fans want to see and take away entertaining parts of the show. If i didn't have Sirius Radio and just the T.V. Version i wouldn't know who Eric the Midget is, Crazy Alice, miss out on all the bands, and miss some great interviews like Stamos, Valderama, and countless other. The June 30th thing is not something against Howard its something against the HSTV crew who makes too many mistakes. And puts out a low quality product. We want a great quality service because we are all Stern Fans and many of us will come back when the problem is resolved. Too many IN Demand programs are not showing up in all markets and the cable companies say its HSTV IN Demands fault not theres. So until the problem is resolved people will be leaving the service regardless of the "Boycott" or whatever you would like to call it. Many people picked the 30th date because they all wanted to see the Artie Roast and were tired of having shitty service and no improvement on the product. So i suggest you get the shit off your face learn what all the complaints are all about before you say we are bashing Stern. If that were the case we wouldn't have bought the product, Have Sirius Radio, and Be typing god damn letters and be so angry about the service or lack there of that we are receiving...A Pussy follows and doesn't speak his mind when things aren't right, A leader speaks up when things are going wrong. Howard is a leader and many others here are as well we want the best product possible and don't believe that, that is what is being put out. We believe they are slacking too much and we've given them too much grace to get things right. And that this would be the only answer as to how we get the better product... Learn to be Leader not a follower. Just because we say something negative doesn't mean we hate Howard it means we aren't happy about the product being put out by his staff who are doing a half ass job. And if they aren't and are working their ass off then they need to tell Howard that they don't have enough manpower to get it done and they need more people on the crew to put it out faster and better. But its not only that its also the camera angles and the editing process thats could be done better...Anyways I hope you don't think because of the 30th deal we are Stern Haters because we aren't and we wouldn't be so fired up and pissed off about the shit we are missing if that were the case... |

I'm cancelling on the 30th because the channel is no where close to as good as it should be. All other attempts to make this opinion heard by those directly involved has not been taken seriously. I don't PAY a premium price for low quality, uninspired garbage.
If anyone out there wonders about whether or not their problems with the channel will be resolved, let me assure you that they won't. Cancelling is the only way to get attention. I recommend doing it on the 30th. You won't be getting anything new for weeks into next month. I say save your money, cancel on the 30th. |

| I am not going to cancel....yet. I was given a 15 buck vredit by comcast and all of my shows have since been updated. I do agree however that the shows are not uncensored and the fact they are always delayed,cut badly,and never the 50+ hours per week i was guaranteed makes me disappointed to say teh least. If the "mass cencelation" helps get there attention and put out a better product then I am all for you guys, I will be giving it another couple of months to right itself before I cancel it myself. PS Yakkis taint is a total cumrag |

Thats cool by no means am i trying to convince you to cancel i just want to voice my opinion and the problems ive had so far with the service. I think the majority of us can agree that HSTV could be 10x better with just about every aspect. Im fed up with the delays and i wish i could get comcast to credit me but that hasn't happened yet. As ive said earlier if i wasn't a Stern Fan I wouldn't have Sirius, HSTV, and be typing on this board. I think things need to be done in order to improve this service and regardless how big the exodus is on the 30th if they keep up with the bullshit thats going on with the TV crew and editing dept. people will quit on their own. |

If it is 8 than it is 8 - if it is just me than fine - the point is not the number but the action - once you lose us you lose the passion - all you see is the 5% they offer you and you feed on it, we see the potential and want HTV to push the envelope....like Howard always has...it is almost as though you group of sheep accept mediocrity and hope not for a better product...I have never seen more a more pathetic display...

First of all, no one is suggesting a Boycott of the Howard Stern Show itself.
We're only talking about Howard TV here.
And, the complaining is more than justified by the local cable companies who REFUSE to update the material every day.
For those of you who want to know, the actual issue here is that the local cable companies are used to updating every week, with HBO and Showtime shows. They have to get their asses kicked to do it every day................but hey............HTV is a daily operation, not a weekly one................
So, it's INDEMAND's responsibility to get on top of the cable companies to get them to update every day, whether they want to or not !!!!!!!! |

People who have earned a Masters Degree, don't call for other people to get banned from Message Boards. It's really as simple as that.
In Demand (and Howard TV by association) are to blame for the delivery issues. But, that's just ONE of many issues that I have with Howard TV.
If eight people cancel tomorrow, that would be great! I will definitely be one of that group! Seriously though, I think there is going to be a lot more than 8. Hopefully, it will make a difference. Sometimes I feel it won't, because the main income for Howard TV is through the hotel chains and pay-per-view audience. Individual subscribers don't really make a difference, UNLESS they all act as one. Which is how this all started in the first place.
