| I am begining to wonder if Howard's own news dept. gets the show. They sent their top reporter to cover a bullshit story about some assholes using the toilet. Do they even know their own motto, "NO MORE BULLSHIT"? :upset: |

| In my opinion there is so much they can cover, for instance the loose ends out of Robin's news. They can follow up on those stories. How about try to confirm some of the bullshit Mike Walker lays on us. |

It's becoming more and more evident that Howard 100 News is not fitting in all that well. George seems indignant of being there and Penny is...well, you know. Lisa G is trying but really, poop stories?
If they were all let go tomorrow I really wouldn't miss them. |

Yeah, I'm thinking that the whole news thing is probably on life support.
It served it's purpose as a mouthpiece for the crew when they were still under contract.
The drama pretty much unfolds during the wrap-up and live show... You don't need a news team. |

| I feel bad a lot of these people need their jobs, but somone has to guide them to cover stories that would keep fans interested. They could always do an internet segment about this site. The most hard core fans are here tell us what was covered in some of the fucking threads. Who leads in the postings. What the fuck is it that we are talking about? |

I also agree -- I turn the channel when the second person comes on to provide the SAME "headlines" the first news person gave a couple hours back-- don't care -- get back to the show...
If I happen to leave the radio on H100, I totally zone during the news update -- and do they really need to give a preview of the wrap-up show?? Lose it... |

I like the news, it takes the whole "be yourself" Howard Stern Show attitude to a new level. While you may not be honest on the air the news has no problem embarassing you in a newscast.
I also love how George Flowers is now laughing at the disgusting things said while he's in the studio. He's trying so hard to not seem repulsed by anything in front of the show regulars since his confrontation with Gary. |

You know, I made brief mention of this today in the listening thread.
George and Lisa G. both, when they were asked or talked about the Sidewalk toilet story said, It's about poop and thats all you guys ever talk about in here. and listening to it a second time confirmed for me there was an unusual pause after Lisa G. said it and then they pushed though it. I would love to see the video of this.
In short NO they don't get it. and George is becoming more insulting to the show as the days pass. |

| I am surprised the news experiment is still going on. Seems like no one wants it or listens to it, but it's still there. The only time I change my channel during the show or a replay is when the "news" breaks come on. It's time to retire this stale bit. |

| Robin seems to dig up quirky and interesting news stories, why can't Howard News do the same and and stop being so Howard-centric. The news department definatly needs to be revamped or shown the door without delay. . . George Flowers should be the first to go! He has the most annoying voice and mannerisms. . . Sorry George. |

I agree.....It's obvious George is somewhat "repulsed" by the show....and lately his news stories are animated and irrelevent....they are just elaborating on what happens on the show each day ie: the Poop follow up story was ridiculous...Howard NEVER uses that term...he says Doodie or SHit or Craps himself...even he was turned off by the story...they are not fans of the show.....and areCLUELESS.....Lisa G. doesn't even get Craig right...she said GREG on the wrap up show and Gary corrected her..I think HOward is torn and knows it is not going well.......before 1/9/06 the news sounded great...it had an edge with the sound effect they used.....and they kept fans up to date during the weeks we could not hear the show.....it has become a bore actually and the first phase was the new format...not a good idea interupting the flow of the show with a news story about a Poop website?????????? I could give you five news stories they missed in the past week???????? Beetlejuice causing a disturbance at a local convienience store.....they missed the James Blunt story dating the tsunami model Petra???? there were pics of them laying on the BEACH in Hawaii that were amazing!...if they were fans of the show they would know Howard.fred.baba.NEVER discuss vacations until THEY COME BACK....for privacy reasons...(RObin did say she was going to Italy) Howard if you read this...get with the newsteam.....RESTRUCTURE THE TEAM......SHULI is the only true FAN of theshow and Penny .....bring back the NOON hour news and 6pm and THATS IT....NO MORE NEWS POP UPS THRU THE DAY....THEY ARE NOT informing us of ANY NEWS relating to the show. |

Im sorry to say but when the news comes on i change the channel. What PISSES me off the most is when then come in and tell you something good but you have to listen to the news to get the whole story. They are so boring and i cant stand it. NO MORE NEWS. That hour can be used to PLAY OLD TAPES.....PLEASE PLAY THE DAMN TAPES.

| It was a great idea to have Howard News..especially the months before 1/09/06 when the channel was play all Howard news and keeping fans informed...now its just become a few news bites reporting on what we already heard during the day..they take a story and elaborate on it ...and whats with the babytalk Lisa G ?? George Flowers is repulsed most of the day by the show...none of them are true fans and know nothing about the show....I think Howard even SABATOGED his own news team by complaining about being followed ..stalked..the phone calls..remember the bracelet story with Beth-O?? It's going to be a sad day for Howard and it's hard to fire these people ...but I think he KNOWS what he has to do...they missed a ton of related news stories the past month alone...if I could I would type 20 on this thread that they should have reported on instead of directing fans to a POOP website because Howard mentioned taking a doodie or how to wipe himself....keep Shuli and find something for Penny to do because she IS a fan of the show.....and let George out of his misery for God's sake!!!! They suck!!! |
