good night of fights... very happy (betting wise and personally) for nastula... wandy also impressed me by cutting down that tank...
oddest fight of the night was yosh vs cro cop... could not believe mirko layed down i his guard like that and just stared at him... and yosh did nothing to caplitalize muchless even close his guard... I swear I hope yosh makes like the jokeman and leaves the show... every fucking fight the guy is involved in leaves me with suspicion... to be that unprepared and unable to abosorb leg kicks at that level (even if from mirko), is ridiculous...
the next round should be even better.. really hoping for cro-cop vs wandy and nog vs josh (who also looked great)... can't see either match permitting the winner to have much left over for a second bout that night... |

Cro Cop was gassed and needed a breather and he knew Yoshida was in even worse shape. Strategically, it paid off because it allowed him to conserve enough energy to maul him once they stood up. Yoshida is so damn overrated. TKO by leg kicks---what a joke.
I won a nice chunk from betting on Nakamura (2x), actually. Every Chute Boxe nuthugger skewed the line a bit without knowing much about Cyborg, so I made out. I also took Vitor (1.5x), Minotauro (2.5x), and Wanderlei (1x).
I was really disappointed with Mark Hunt's effort, too. He looked like a blob on his back.
Another fight that was amazing was Overeem-Minotoro. What was the deal with Overeem's corner preemptively throwing in the towel? He got rocked but was definitely in a position to defend himself and recover. It was pretty damn close on points at that point, too. Overeem and Baroni have such great upsides...and such shitty cardio.
I see Minotauro winning the tourney regardless of final 4 matchups. |

Silva's fight against fujita made the night for me. I can't believe the ref let it go and go until the bell sounded for the fight to be over.
Anyways, the final four is world class and I can't wait to see the matchups. |
