I know I've been a tad vocal on my not enjoying having Spiceboy back with the show ( ON-Air).
I guess I'm not the most patient guy on earth, and I was REALLY enjoying the show without him. I felt he was talking way too much and talking over the other guys.
Well, maybe it was just time, but last week was Flawless!! The right amount of Spice added to the mix, and the return to the ONE host format.
I am happy to have the show back. |

| Don't know about that. I was worried when it was announced Spiceboy was coming back because I had never heard him before. However, I was won over on day one. Bubba and Spiceboy compliment each other perfectly. Bubba is the master of bringing it home. The genious of Manson, the perfection of Brent, the theatre of the mind with Ned, and now the smooth, sexy, skirt chasing Spiceboy. Perfect combination. I'm hoping Spiceboy will post his medium rare on Bubba Raw. |

| I think you're right Jaeger. Last week, with very few guests, was very good radio. Whether he says he does or not, I believe that constructive critism on this board, has slightly changed Bubba's show for the better. |

You know, I'll be honest. I don't necessaraly think the board "changes" his show. I think it keeps it "in Line" a bit. BTLS and crew have always had a good product, they were just going places we didn't enjoy as much. So they snapped back to their basics.
And the fact that he takes the feedback and gives it thought is GREAT. Some DJ's prefer to tell you what you like, and that bothers the shit out of me. You know.

| The only thing I would do is "dumb down" Spice's radio voice. When he talks it sounds like a second host. Unlike Hatley's or Manson's regular guy voice which add to the show. Ned is a good "character" voice and 25 Cent has a great dumb intern voice even though we now know he is smarter than Lasker - "How bout that?" |

I know it's because Bubba addresses him...it's not like he's trying to take over the Show. I feel like Bubba is increasingly living vicariously through Spice Boy's sex romps, since Bubba is officially off the market.

I totally agree with you I still love the show but it seems that it was so much better pre-Spice...Theres just to many people talking at once. |

i feel the opposite of all of you. i was pissed when i found out spice wasn't on the show when bubba came to sirius. spice has been on the show for years before the move to sirius. i guess im just used to him.
the show's now 100% back to what it was 2 years ago. |

Are you joking?? Spice only talked on the old show when he was Risking Death , or pissing off Bubba. He does neither on Sirius. |

Bubba's show is 100% better with Spice Boy than before. The BRN without Spice Boy just isn't the same.

That was the best shit back in the Cowhead days. Spice was always doing crazy fucking stunts. Anything Bubba asked him to do, he did it. He was the intern with the biggest sac, and knew that if he stayed with Bubba, shit would work out for him.
Spice has paid his fucking dues. All the shit he has done in the past supercedes the shit he does on the radio now.
I think a good direction for him would be to utilize his past. Find an intern that will do anything, and Spice comes up with the most insane shit for him to do and makes him do it for Odyssey dollars or whatever the fuck. The torture rack gimmick can only last so long.
I have been listening ever since 1998 when I moved here (Tampa) after I got out of the Suck. I am only just now getting on the forums. Only reason I am getting on the forums is because I keep hearing Bubba talking about all you fucks whining and bitching about shit on the show.
This brings me to another point, when did Bubba start giving a fuck about nerds on the Internet and what they are saying? I think he has lost some of his edge. I loved that he would go off on stupid ass callers calling in to bust balls. Thats Bubba. Now, he is gettin all babyface on some fucko's whining on the Internet. Who cares what the fuck you think?
That man has been stomping the competition since he set foot in Tampa, and didn't need you Internet fuckers to do it.
Take more calls, read less SFN.

he comes here for a reason.
The posts here are overwhelmingly positive about his show.
I would imagine he is here to look at how the fans are responding.
he can either say Fuck it and do what he wants to do.
or read the feedback and do what he thinks is right.
It should be a complement that people take the time to discuss the show.
You are right Bubba doesn't need us, ratings don't mean shit anymore.
But it appears he cares about his fans the same way his fans care about his show. |

You and I both know that an Internet fucking forum is the worse place on Earth to look for information like that. I have been on tons of forums, and than I just got burnt out on it. It is mostly people bitching, whining, and playing Internet tough guy. Its a shitty place to seek approval and you know it.
I followed Bubba to Sirius. I didn't plop down the dough for a Starmate for Howard, Ferrell or over 60 channels of commercial free radio. Soley for Bubba.
(Although all those things listed are awesome, and I love Crazy Alice. FUCK YOU ARTIE, Hi fred.)
I was looking forward to more high falootin shennanigans, and I am gettin my 13 bucks a month worth, but the added bullshit of these forums takes away from the show, and has made Bubba a little soft.
Lastly, a Gas Chamber ain't shit. It sucks, and you lose all control of your facial liquids, but it aint gonna kill no one. Ive been through it a few times. Shit, I volunteer to fly to NY and do it privately for corporate, so that this way the can make an informed deciscion, and let Bubba do his thing. |

| I really like spice boy on the show. I think it comes off good with a young guy out bangin whores and all the older guys with long term girls busting his balls or living through him. They all seem to gel well together and I never noticed that he talked too much before, always seemed to chime in at the right time to me. |

You are 100% right ! and I couldn't put it better myself.
I said feedback however. Which is quite different than approval.
Most times the feedback is good here. Take a look around you will see that.
Sometimes not so much.
And other times it's just a discussion.
I would hope my Liking the Pre Spice BTLS show on sirius is not viewed as more than my opinion at the time of the post. Hell i went as far as to as tactfully as possible say why I felt that way.
Shit things improved IMHO and I even acknowledged that.
Yeah maybe bubba needs his edge back. Truthfully it couldn't hurt. |

I have been a listener for about 5-6 years. I say fuck Cowhead. He dissed Bubba repeatedly, and he tries to take over wherever he goes. Bubba brought him into this business, and when testicle radio is a wasteland of evangelistic pomp and mexican carnival music, Bubba should give Cowhead the big fuck you. Spiceboy adds to the shows chemistry because he has the most testicular fortitude, more so than Lasker. Sometimes he speaks out of turn, but when it comes to stirring the shit up, Matt is the fucking master. He's just a little nervous now, give him time, he will settle down.

I think Spice makes Bubba comfortable which in turn allows him to be more of himself i.e. funnier.
When you are surrounded by your environment it inevitably makes you more comfortable.
