This thread is for Tito Ortiz questions.
In an effort to stop Bubba from sounding like an MMA newbie / Ortiz Fanboy.
If Bubba uses the questions Cool, If not WGAS. Not knowing how to say the guy's name would indicate he is clearly going to need help.
I would imagine this is going to be a VERY PRO ORTIZ interview. So take your Anti-Tito shit elsewhere thank you very much.

He did win by decision, but after the fight tito came out and said that he was injured but didn't want to use that as an excuse if he lost. So after he won he let people know that he wasn't 100% and that he was sorry for not fighting as great as normal. |

As for the Driffin fight...Tito dominated round one and if there was ever a 10-8...that was it. The worst he could have gotten was a draw. Besides stopping Titos takedown....Forrest didn't do anything. Thats is why an injured Tito won the fight.
You could ask Tito about his fued with Tank Abbot...that could start some fireworks.
Ask Tito what he thinks of Wanderlei Silva. Would he like to fight him again and would he ever move up to the Heavyweights class like Silva did in the Pride Open weight tourney?

I agree that this question should be asked! ;)
I absolutely feel the same way, before TUF3 I thought he was just some overly-arrogant, punk asshole. Now that I have seen him on the show my feelings about him have done a 180, I think he's a great respectable guy.
Along with that question I'd like to ask him if his "Fighter Persona" is just that, one made to be the arrogant asshole type. Does he act that way specifically to mess with opponents and/or give himself a certain image?
Also...
After having watched TUF3 after the original shooting were done and it was aired on TV, how do you feel about all the comments made toward you from guys like Mike Bisping and Ed Herman?
How do you feel about what the guys in the house REALLY had to say and think about Matt Hamill from watching the show? |

I too was a hater b-4 TUF3 and actually liked Ken Now I think Ken is a poster child for roid-rage and Tito is just a funny guy who likes to annoy people. Oh and Tito seems to be a pretty damn good coach....and Ken not so much......

Those are some of the best questions. I don't listen to Bubba that much. I try to when he has UFC guys on. I liked the Franklin interview. I hope he asks every single one of them. Should be a great interview. Any idea on the time that the interview might start?

Arona and Ortiz competed against eachother already in a grappling only event called Abu Dhabi and Arona won.

Dude Tito Called, The show didn't have time for him because his call was late. he spoke about it on the Ferrall show.
The porn chick was more important.
Why was Tito late? who knows. Probably one of a million possible reasons someone who is headlining a large PPV in two days could be late. |

Ferrall went into full schtick coma like he does will all MMA fighters. Where he is going to beat their ass and such.
Schuli saved the interview by asking an annoyed Tito some real questions.
Tito made it clear that it is his intention to take his time and damage Shamrock. Feels like he will cheat the fans if he beats him quick, so he plans to dish out some punishment.
A couple full mark callers.
The question was raised as to why he wasn't on Bubba. Tito said he called, but was running late and the BTLS show had other guests on and couldn't fit him in.
More talk of damaging Shamrock.
Few more callers marking out including a thank you call from a Father of a boy who was allowed by Tito to Spend 4days at Tito's Big Bear workout facility doing a school project. |

Cause Bubba can't talk tough and go off on Tito. Wonder how he will appreciate Tito saying that he takes care of his business and he doesn't know what happen. Maybe Bubba will challenge him to a fight, perhaps he will challenge him to see who pulls more girls, or who gets better quality. He already talked tough about Brent being badass to his "handler." I wish it would have happen considering the impressive questions you guys had lined up. As well as Bubba would have been a much better interview even without your questions! I like Ferall but his interviews with mma are the worst. Schuli can't and doesn't save them. He may delay the nose dive but ultimately they suck balls. |

Thanks man, it sucks they couldn't fit him in after he called late. I'm sure with the PPV coming up and shit the guy is prolly real busy. Bubba should have made time though, those girls he had fucking sucked and were ugly as hell. I have heard many times when a nascar guy was late or tucker was busy and they put it off for awhile.

As far as my recap. i felt it in good taste to try and be nice to the Ferrall show, It appears if I'm at all critical of an on air personality I suddenly "hate" them. When in truth anyone I have a problem with would be Ace's if they went with a "less is more" mantra. Ferrall did butcher the interview pretty bad, schuli tried, and Tito REALLY tried. |

As for the fight I am not a huge Tito fan due to his attitude when he first started in the UFC, but do realize his talents in the Octagon.
I have always been a Shamrock fan (Frank in-particular) but I am not hopeful in this fight. Shamrock was a great fighter in his day taking out the likes of Bas, Kimo, Smith etc, but wonder if he may be past his prime at the age of 40.
There is always the Randy Couture example, but Randy was an world class wrestler, where Ken being more of a Shoot fighter(shoot fighting is a mix of Karate, Kickboxing, Muay Thai insert jimmy jam joke here and Wrestling.)
All this said Tito looked piss poor against Griffin, and my homerism is getting the best of me so I will say Shammy by a Leg lock.
Edit: I can't believe I left out the local boys Sylvia and Neer! You have to love the Miletich Fighting System I work out at Miletich's gym (just weights no MMA) and all of those guys are real down to earth midwest guys.

For those intrested in MMA and not strictly UFC there will be an IFL event Sept 23rd at the Mark in Moline Illinois featuring an IFL line up to be capped off with Pat Miletich making his return against Renzo Gracie.
The IFL is Miletichs' baby and something he hopes will turn into something of a farm system for Pride, UFC, WFA etc.
And Matt Hughes has some great matches coming up against George St Pierre, and BJ Penn. GSP may take place at UFC 62 but it kind of sounds like 64 is more likely. |

Unlimited I take brazilian jiu jitsu, and sambo, but my job doesn't allow me to do full MMA. (can't have giant goose eggs, or black eyes)
I respect Tito or any MMA fighter just given a choice I would rather see Ken raising his hand. |

But I would not pass up the chance to train with those guys every day if I lived there.
I have traveled there before to train and it was cool.
I don't understand your concern about black eyes in training though. They either wear head gear or pull punches.
I have gotten more black eyes from rolling (doing jiu-jitsu) than I have sparring mma.
Sure it hurts more to get hit in the head, even with head gear on, than it does to roll, but don't pass up your chance to train with some of the best.
Also have you at least rolled with any of them?
