| Personally I think Football is a game played with an oblong ball on a gridded field, I live in London right now and I find "Football" here as boring as I find Soccer in the States. I tried to watch a football match here and fell asleep inside 5 mins, oh he has the ball over here, now he has the ball over there, big fucking deal. Ifind the hooliganism muc more entertaining than the game itself... my answer to Soccer is strap on some skates and do some body checking.... I like England Ok but every version of there sports we have in the states is wicked boring, Snooker thier Billards is complex, inane and complicated, where as * ball is a quick game and ez to follow... Cricket (their Baseball) is long, boring and rediculous to follow in score, and Rugby, although fast pased and quite Violent has no structure at all, unlike our Football, and Soccer (thier version of basketball) is just fucking lame |

Baseball evolved from a sport that we play in schools over here called Rounders. The correct sport to compare baseball to is rounders.
Cricket is really nothing like baseball so it's unfair to compare. Although I do agree it blows. |

I think maybe you are talking about fans in the US. I sometimes talk about something I saw in a baseball or American football game in conversation to my friends and then have to end up defending the sports to them. |
