Anyone know if HTV has any plans of going online like Bubba Raw? I go to college and we don't have digital cable in the dorms so I don't have the HTV. I'd be down to pay for it online though?

I really don't see why Howard thinks it would be a problem for HTV to go online. If someone has the choice of paying the same amount to have it on either cable or online, they would pick cable. But the people who have a satellite or their cable doesnt offer it have no option right now, so we miss out.

Very true...Being able to get it online would be kick ass

I'd be all in favor of Howard putting HTV online, but it would be a big undertaking. He's only got one guy right now to do his website, and he's barely competent. Howard would definitely need to hire some IT people to do it.

In Demand owns the distribution rights, so it's up to them whether they want to get into online distribution. The company was created to provide content to cable systems. In a customer survey I filled out a few weeks ago, they did ask about how much I'd pay for online streaming or downloads, so they're at least considering it.

If you know of any sites which are pirating the broadcasts online or if you're selling, I'd be interested.
And to Howard (and InDemand): I would go the legal route and pay you for the shows if you would let me. My cable provider sucks so much ass that me and 80% of my neighbors use satellite.

Ya having the online option would be awsome. Probably cost a fair bit to get it setup though. They would need tons of bandwidth and tons of storage to host everything.

I'd certianly pay for online streaming. I've been wanting to get rid of Time Warner and move to a dish provider. Time Warner sucks ass completely.
Oh Canada!
Bump. Has anyone heard of any developments in this area?
