Smoke is starting pretty far back. Will be rooting for him as always, but not too confident even though he's been top 5 in the last 4 races at Chicago.
In another league, we have to take 5 drivers and they only score if the finish in the top 10. I've got Burton, Kahne, Kenseth, Johnson, and Harvick. I'm leading the league by about 38 points, but it gets reset when the chase starts and only the top 7 of the 30 some odd teams make the field. I'm guessing that my picks are fairly different from the rest of the field this week. I may increase the lead or crash and burn. We will see. |

The only thing I like about the NBC/TNT team is Benny Parsons.
I was impressed yesterday when they had gone to commercial during the Busch race, and Kyle Busch spun and they immediately cut back to the spin. I don't remember the last time FOX or FX did that. |

You know, I didn't used to like Wally much, but he has slowly started to grow on me. I think it got better last year when they put Bill Weber in the booth instead of Allen Bestwick. Wally and Allen didn't seem to jive very well. Just IMO. |

They didn't all last year and they actually went to commercial at Daytona just as the caution flew... they both suck... hopefully ESPN/ABC will show them how it's done next season...

If ABC goes to the split screen during commercials for NASCAR coverage... in addition to having Rusty in the booth... I'll start a petition to have ABC get exclusive rights... because everyone knows how well petitions work when it comes to getting things done... |

Well I can Say I prefer this TNT coverage over Fox. and it's not even close. the cameras and mics are soooooooooooooooooooooo much better. I like Dallenbach, I'm pretty pleased, but agree the IRL coverage kicks the shit out of Nascar coverage. |

NASCAR needs to do something about this bullshit. Set limits on the amount of commercials these companies can run or something. This is getting regoddamn dickilus. Terry sucks and my cousin loves him. I can't even bust on him about how bad Terry is anymore because I almost feel sorry for him. I'll give the cous credit...takes loyality to stick with someone so bad...almost like me and Rusty in the later years. LOL |
