I'm posting this here because i think you'll be more likely to see it, tho it will limit the exposure to thers frankly.
Sterndom is certainly amenable to snark, sarcasm, sniping and general ballbusting.
HOWVER, you willfully mischaracterized Boot's "donation-invitation"/public-mooching thread as "Joey suckers the Stern Fan Network"
This is a lie, the thread you describe is an outgrowth of the far larger Boots TV thread wherein Boots was freely offered things *without solicitation* and was asked for more content and better production values...his 'gifts' thread overtly evolved from that with all matters above board.
You may have been speaking lightheartedly, but you have genuinely slandered someone dear to Sterndom quite carelessly, and you should apologize.
At least if yer gonna insult someone, adhere to the points of fact, as your background and demeanor increase the impact of even your casual words...

if whomever had said "JB mooches/sob stories SFN" or if the quote had been fleshed out even alittle it wouldn't be such an issue, but as aired it left the distinct impression that Boots was being deceptive or fraudulent in some way, whihc is a lie. |
