| From what I read of the law, it will have little impact, my sportsbook use a a middle man, say for example firepay, you can do all sort of things with firepay, including gambling, they are based in Canada I believe, so this rule wont effect us much |

Intermediaries such as Neteller and Firepay are indeed covered by the text of the proposal. However, I don't see this ever becoming actual law. In addition, most the penalties target the suppliers of the books, intermediaries, etc. so people like you and I should not be too affected by international companies unless our banks hop on board, which doesn't seem likely.
It's just propaganda to appeal to the base by southern and western conservatives.

Partypoker.com - real money
Real money sites are not allowed to advertise on TV (or so I've heard), so that is their way of getting around it. |
