| I think this would be interesting to hear. I played in a spring training game against the Minn Twins in 1993. My college played them each year and I got to pitch the 3rd inning against the world champs in their first game of spring training that year as world champs. We were able to hang out with Knoblauch and all the boys during warm ups and it was the best baseball experience I have ever had. They kept all their starters in for the first 5 innings to thank the city of Ft Myers. I got to face several decent players, and I ended the inning with Knoblauch popping out to first and Kirby Pucket on deck. One of the things in life I wish I could have done was pitch to Pucket. He was a funny and awesome guy. I wound up with 2 runs surrendered in the one inning with 1 being earned. It was the best. I am interested to hear how many others have been lucky enough to experience being a "major leaguer" for a day, week, season, or career... |

it counts only if it was the year Mo got beat up at the strip club and then got everyone to cry for him and hand him the MVP over the far superior Albert Belle. |

| No. It was just before he went to the Mets. He barely fit through the door and I thought there was no way he'd be able to play that season. Sure enough he came up with some silly injury and never really played again. He ate and drank himself out of baseball. |

That is soooo funny. cause down here in Ft Myers, the Red Sox train and Mo Vaughn was a regular at the strip clubs down here... That just hilarious! |
