| I have one. it is so fucken awesome...................I have a ipod and a Creative vision M and this little thing is my fav. I use it every day to record howard I am on the west cost so I record from 1 am till 6:30 then take it to work. I love it worth every dime. There is nothing else out there like it. Nice dude! I just ordered one online a minute ago.
I called up the company today and talked to someone in sales, very helpful. They answered all the questions I had, by the time I hung up the phone I was sold.
No more pissing around with my computer to record the show and then transfer to my mp3 player. This is going to be great. Plus, I needed the AM tuner to catch the local sports station when they carry the hockey games. No other mp3 player has the AM.
Just subscribed to that list, waiting to get approved.
In the meantime, tell me a bit about the radio. Did you get the leather case? Is it fairly well built? Headphones decent?
Do you have to leave the unit on all night for a timed record session? Or will it power up on it's own?
Can you move a file from the internal (128MB) drive to the SD card without a computer?

| A case is a must. Helps save it when you drop it. Also very well made case with belt clip. No it has a built in timer. You can set up all kinds of times. Can you move a file from the internal (128MB) drive to the SD card without a computer? was your ? Yes what I do is record to tghe card/SD then you can just take it out and use the card reader on the PC to read it. The thing is so awesome all you need to do is drag MP3 files on it from anywhere and it will play. Its not all gay like a Ipod where you need to use Itunes. Its records in MP3 and the bit rate is 32 to 256. You will be real happy with it. Like everything there might be a few things you might no like but everything I dont like about it I have found to work around. The only thing I hate about it other then a few firmwear upgrades I would like to see is when you record AM with the power cord in you get a little hissssssssssssss. It does not do that on FM. If there is anything I need to record on AM I just run it on the Bat. Anyways once you join the forum my screen name is billrhea27 that is also my AOL screen name. | Oh just a note. I would rather have this then the S50 I took back after a week. I can do more with the RYW LX then the S50 could do. |

Awww man the Quality of the sound is awesome. I don’t know who told ya that but how good do you need it to sound other then real good. I have both a 60gb Ipod and a 30gb Creative Vision M and the Radio your way LX is better then both. The only draw back is the 2gb max on the SD cards. So if you don’t need all your music on one device and all the functions this thing has you will love it. So if you don’t need all your music on one device and all the functions this thing has you will love it. I have even used it to rip records and tapes into MP3s via the line in recording bypassing the computer. If you are looking for a Voice/line in/ AM FM recorder look no further. There is nothing on the market that even gets close.

| Great reviews. The first one is of the original RYW. The new LX is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better then the old one. They are not even in the same class. |

I've had my unit for the past 3 weeks and fucking love it.
So easy to record, no more leaving my computer on all night and pissing around with that, much easier. |
