| Is anyone having issues with streaming online? Mine sounds like a "skipping" CD. It cuts out and jumps back back in really quickly. It was doing it yesterday too, but I thought it would be fixed by now. Anyone else having the same issue? |

| I've been having the same problem with the streaming audio. It keeps skipping. I really only use the stream when I'm working and I just thought it was my computer here at the office. The Sirius FAQ says the problem can be caused by a slow internet connection or, more likely, internet traffic. I do not have the problem with the music channels I listen to. |

| Same issue here. Although yesterday afternoon it was much better. It does not happen on the music channels though. |

I haven't been able to logon for a couple of days now. I called Sirius and some dumbshit-sounding guy said the website is down and to wait 24 hours (which is now).
Anyone else having this problem? |

Thanks for the motivation, Disciple. I logged on to my account for billing, changed my password, then went and logged on to the streaming with no problem.
Why that dumbfuck told me the site was down is bullshit. |

And still have the issue with the Yahoo widget. It was better yesterday, but this morning has been terrible.
I sent Sirius an email and they said they were forwarding to their web team. I suggest you do the same. It can't hurt. |

My stream is skipping a lot today, normally skips are ever once in a while. Today, it seems like there have been 30 or 40. Two skips while I typed this out.
How do you tell if this is on my end or theirs?

| Mine has been 100% perfect until last week and then the skipping started, I live in an area where my reciever drops out at least 10 minutes every hour so I depend on the stream to hear the show uninterupted, if Sirius would only get more repeaters in my area I wouldn't give a shit about the skips on the stream, the skips are worse today then before, I'm listening to Super Fan Roundtable right now and the skips are so bad I'm almost ready to just shut the damn thing down, I hope this isn't going to become a regular glitch with the stream :( |

I had some skipping issues on the web page but fixed it...I think. I set my Windows Media Player buffer for over 30 seconds and restarted the show and all fine after 2-3 minutes of playing.
It seems there is a new Widget plug for Yahoo and some guy created some SQL/.Net program to stream for the time being.
Everyone needs to read Thread/page 31 and current at Sirius Backstage-

| What happens to me only on H100, 101 is that I get a "closed" message after about 10-15 minutes of listening. Doesn't happen with the music channels. Anyone know the cause of this?? |

OMG I have been having problems for weeks now, it's so annoying to listen to. Constantly hic-cupping and skipping, so very annoying, thanks. |

I think its bullshit that sirius uses WMP to stream the feeds of their programming. Why not choose a cross platform method instead of a OS locked one. Pretty gay that I can download the show everyday illegally even though I pay for 4 accts. Stop blowing MS and go with a differnt method of streaming that can give you the security you need like real player even though anyone can get the mp3s.

My Widget doesn't work either. It scrolls the title and artist on Sirius Gold Channel 5 but says an unknown error has occurred. Try reloading the Widget. I tried that and it still doesn't work
Can anyone assist? |

| Is anyone beside me having major problems with the NEW Howard Stern Media player?? When I log in, the show skips around like a broken record and gets completely cut off at times. I think I'm going to stick to the Player on the Sirius website, which I've never had problems with. |

| themormons: Are you listening to Howard100 or Howard101? The reason I ask is I have noticed that when I listen to Howard101 I have the skipping issue still, but pretty much ever since the new king of all media player was released, Howard100 has been pretty skip free for me, with the new player, AND with the Yahoo! widget. |

| I can't even get the howard stern media player to connect, it says its timing out. I see the firewall request being granted but nothing comes back. Is there any FAQ or help on this new media player. First I couldn't download it and it took them a day to get me a direct link and not it doesn't work. The Sirius player works for me. |
