To fix the skipping and dropouts, you need to launch your Windows Media Player Program.
Start > Programs ...etc
Windows Media Player
- Click Tools > Options
- Click Performance Tab
- Click On the Buffer Bullet ans set the Buffer for 30 seconds or more
After about 3 minutes you will not hear any more Skips or Dropouts. |

| I am fully convinced this problem is on the Sirius end. The skipping does not happen on the music channels and I used the method described above and have the same issues. I also have the same issues with the Widget. |

Same thing with me, the stream only skips on 100 & 101, I wasn't able to get the f-ing widget to play at all. I hope Sirius fixes the problem, the show sounds like a CD that was scraped across a gravel road and then played. |

Make sure that you let Sirius know about this problem you're having. Everyone assumes that someone else has already reported it or will report it. In the end, no one reports it. |

Good for you! Yes, they need to hear this from everyone having problems, otherwise they'll think it's an isolated incident. There's a reason they're calling it a Beta Test. They're expecting problems, and they're waiting for feedback to let them identify the problems listeners are having. So complaining on this forum won't get it fixed. You have to send them an email. |

Of course it is, Sirius has'nt readied their streaming infrastructure for the Howard users, thats why its still "beta", they know it isnt optimized. |

It's definatly a problem with Sirius and their site. I never had any problems with the Yahoo Widget and before all these changes I was using Windows Mobile 5.0 on my Pocket PC and a 3rd party audio program to stream and never heard of any skips or pauses before. |

Nope, before all these changes I never had a streaming problem with Howard...and I was using Windows Mobile on a Dell Pocket PC. ~ 624MHz Power - 230MHz on Battery |
