i dont know if this was addressed yet, sorry if it was but starting at the begining of july NJ enlisted a tax on satellite radio. I was surprised by this when i went into my account and saw a 78 cent tax added on to my bill for july. i called up and a sirius rep told me that NJ now taxes and complain to your congressman. I'm not here to bitch about 78 cents a month so save the wahs, but i think thats pretty stupid.

that is complete bullshit. are we gonna have the system they have across most of europe soon where you get charged every month just for owning a tv and radio? horse shit!

Is that really true? What reasons do they give? Maybe NJ is paying for the satellite-repeaters throughout the state? ....any info?

Trust me hon. If they're taxing for repeaters, it's a sham. There aren't any repeaters anywhere near me and I live near the state capital!

That's why a Democratic NJ senator proposed a Bill to exempt Sat. Rad from the tax.

You might want to actually know what you are talking about before you make a statement, Republicans are quite capable of taxing and spending on their own, not to mention getting us involved in pointless wars and forcing religious conservatism down our throats. But please, go ahead and pretend Democrats are "tax and spenders".
