| I wonder if bubba worrying about dyin racin came from Knoxville? The lost another driver there this weekend :( second one this year there :( But as a racer myself that possibilty is a small part of the allure of speed.But it's not how he makes a livin, so i understand.And you cwon't race well with that in the back of your mind.I hope at least "LASKER RULES" Gene Lasker keeps on racin.They were talking about goin late model racin.wonder what put the kaibosh on that? |

Nah, Bubba's been flirting with hanging up the Helmet for months. The rest of the show has let their feelings be known on the subject. And Lets be honest, if you are going to run Dirt Track, you need to run dirt track weekly in order to be competitive. With the new show, life and other things Bubba just hasn't had/ or taken the time to Race the way he used to. It just does'nt make sense to Run any longer. It's not fair to his family, His workers or his sponsors. I applaud him hanging it up. |

Bubba should become a car owner and give some up and coming driver a chance to run his car. Sounds like he has really good equipment. |

| I belive Bubba truly loves the sport and the people in it. I think that he has come to grip's that he's not that good. I don't think it has anything to do with danger. What I would really like to see Bubbba do is go head to head with Stewart and Kahne and start a World of Outlaws or NST team. I think Bubba would be able to attract enough sponsorship money and it will not cost him alot of money. Plus how great would all the smack talking be between him and Stewart and Lasoski ect. Just a thought. But the Sirius Satellite Radio race team would be cool. |

Bubba is a big guy. That is hurting him a ton.
As for the fight it was typical Hillbilly mayhem.
I was at a figure 8 one night and the sherifs stepped on the track to stop the race. They walked up to a car pulled the driver out and handcuffed him on the spot! It was probably the funniest thing I have seen in years. |
