I've been having issues this morning and I may just put my head through a wall.
Sirius changed the online media player to some UVU thing that I can't run because my Java version is too old and I can't update it because I don't have administrative "priviledges" here at work to install the 1.5 version.
I see talk of "widgets" n such so I look into downloading the widget engine and sirius widget but the engine doesn't seem to be downloading properly either. I don't have an option to "finish" the download. I only have an option to close the window when it's done with the download, and although I have the "launch yahoo widget engine" box checked... nothing happens. I look for it to run it manually but the only thing in it's folder is a word document for the license agreement. I've tried downloading it three times already and i get the same result everytime.
I sent in an email to yahoo about it but I figured i might get laughed at and ridiculed here much faster. Or if anyone here can actually help a brutha out so he could get his Howard fix at work that would be much appreciated. |

| go to sirius.com, and when the banner ad for howard comes up, click on it and the old player should come right up for you. i dunno how long it will be linked there so in the meantime i'm tryin to get the new player workin... |

| I just went to Sirius.com . Click listen live at the top of the screen and the old player pops up. I think they will keep that, since you still listen to all of the music channels from that link. |

| Download the widget - works awesome, and you don't need to enter your password & those other codes |

| I'm having the same problem. I can't listen to howard on Sirius because I don't have the newest Java and I don't have admin right either. I can't figure out why the widget is not working I install it and it never launches. What am I doing wrong? |

Download the neest version, but when the windo pops up to select 'run' save' or cancel - select 'save' - if you select 'run' for some reason it won't work - click save', then you should be good to go. |

| Ever since I upgraded to the newest version of the widget tuner I get this message scrolling at the bottom which says "unknown error has occurred.. try to relaunch" nothing I do seems to help.. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how to fix it? |

| hook, your not going to be able to install anything on your office computer. My company is like yours- total lock down!. Best that you might be able to do is to save the program to a flash drive and try to run it off of that. Probably still won't work. What I do is bring my radio into the office where I have a second antenna, power cord and computer speakers. It does not connect to the office network so everyone is cool with it. |
