Just picked up a new laptop, i'm sort of buzzing out over the fact that the new Online player is for PC only.

| I stream from sirius.com from my mac but I notice that it skips every few minutes. Does anyone else have that issue? I also notice that it times out after a while of no activity. Anyone have a work around for that? |

In the Stern player there is no option for a Mac. Can't any of you badasses create a Sirius Widget on the Mac for Yahoo?
Also to add, it won't let me login on Sirius.com, username/password is fine. Is it because it's logged in on another computer? It's not saying the name/pw is wrong, but the shit you have to type in is 'incorrect'. |

I've done work on converting the Windows Yahoo widget to Mac (everything but the sound works), but with Mac OS 10.4 having its own built-in and incompatible widget engine I think it would be better to write the widget for that.
You should be able to login on a Mac at Sirius.com, I can. I've noticed if you hit Return or Enter after entering your name, password, and captcha code it gives an error and asks for the info again. If you click on the login button it works. Seems like bad coding by Sirius.
Streaming Sirius.com on a Mac will not display the song and artist you are currently listening to. You can, however go to http://www.DogstarRadio.com/now_playing.php and see what is playing on EVERY channel (or a subset of channels) and click on a song or artist name to switch to that channel in the Sirius.com stream. |
