I was planning on doing a special show to launch the tapes but since I'm doing that Friday afternoon now, I need a new show plan. With the Stern Show on break, what else do we have to discuss?
We've got Boots, Lori, otto23, & a new guy JA JA JOOEY
Ja Ja backed out. LeeHarveyIdiot is taking his place
Artie's Borgota show was such a big success that his next show there will be in the big room
Jeff the Drunk is working at the supermarket 7AM-4PM M-F
Cabbie still hasn’t hooked up his free Sirius radio. How can someone who wants a job here be so blasé about trying to make it happen? Will he go to XM?
What did you think of the Johnny -- censored -- Show w/ KC? Where can they go with this?
Does Sirius need a t-shirt store so we can all get those hoddie sweatshirts?
THE STERNS
- Howard's mom was left waiting at home to be picked up & brought to Sirius. Will they get an ISDN line like Mike Walker and is it needed? discuss the parents impact on the show & favorite all time moments.
- After Howard's Heart to heart with his father, an email made him feel guilty. Was he too hard on him?

What about Johnny -- censored --'s claim during his H101 "pilot" that he could get the Stern forums into a "sit-down?" Or his claim that he is still going to get ETM to fly despite ETM's new claim that it is "AMA?" I'm thinking he should have stopped with the claim he could get Paris Hilton on, if his "pilots" continued.
I don't see anything coming from D*c that he would even want a "sitdown," but have wondered why other places such as SiriusBackstage don't get mentions or "reps."
Btw, the bit SFRT did on the streamer last week was really good info. |

I havent had a chance to read it, but I noticed a thread on here about what was the first bit you heard on Howard. In honor of the all request weekend, that might be a nice thing for people to talk about.
I grew up in a small town in Florida and never heard of Howard, but I remember visiting friends here and walking around the city with my walkman and somehow stumbling on to Howard, it was during the whole Bon Jovi/sam kinnison mess....and I was hooked.
Also maybe a recap review of all the shows that have been on 101..and what we want to hear more of.....Cabbie, Dice, Bloodhound Gang, Debbie Schussel. Johnny Frato, miserable men. that political show Brent did, kill or be killed, double A, etc. What happend to Tissue time and Meet the Shrink? what about crackwhore view?

Mutt I missed the past few shows, did you talk about Howard's meeting with Tim to review his vision for the Channels? What new vision do the fans see for the Channels?
Rankings are always good, you could rank every current memeber of the Stern show in importance to the Show starting from most important and ending with LEAST important and then let SFRT give an award for this. That is damned mean but it will get attention. It has to be only people who work for The Show itself so the result will be a zinger for The Show. |

I like that idea.
How about a discussion about 101. Should it be left just for Bubba & Ferrall, with the third channel Howard has talked about being added and used for the Roundtable, Intern Show, Miz Men etc., as well as the home for the "classic" shows once they are ready.
This would allow for more replays of all the shows involved as well as open some room for future shows Howard might want to add. |

When Howard goes on vacation. I have tried to plan vacations around when Howard is off the air. This year I really screwed up. I will be in N. J. Sept 7th through 14 and am not sure how to record the show. I pride myself on not missing a minute, so knowing when they are off I could plan my vacations for the year. I do not complain about time off, because this gives me a chance to listen to the other content. I would give anything to know when I should take vacation, because I would plan accordingly.

I like having the old bits/interviews/music but don't care to hear full shows in the replays.
I'd rather they create something new!
The hodeo is something I probably won't be listening to...

Since Howard IS on vacation....a good topic would be THAT!
Howard only mentions vacation while discussing something during the show..we only hear about where they go AFTER they come back...we know the obvious reason why they don't discuss it before...coming back from vacation and discussing what each of them did is a great first hour of the show.
Extending the SFRT to a three hour show!!!!!! One hour is not enough time to discuss the show and fans views of the show...also discuss how you approach Tim or Gary with ideas for the channels.......How did Sour Shoes get an hour show???
Also you mentioned a show on Ralph and just what he does for Howard and the show...20plus yrs.with Howard going back to channel 9.....NBC days..K-rock..and now Satellite...have Ralph on as a guest and extend the show an hour.....what a day in the life of Ralph is like.....he could actually have a FAQ show.....
This week would be a great week to have fans of the show call in with questions....and extend the show an hour....just when the show gets interesting .....it's over!!!
Topic: How did Mutt start the SFN???? Have Marks Friggin on as a guest and discuss his website as well ....
I like having a discussion about Phase Two...and if the Howard 100 news is being slowly downsized.....have Steve Langford on as a guest....Lisa G.would be a great guest to discuss how they go about gathering the news......this week could also be a great week to discuss the future of Satellite Radio.....WILL IT EVENTUALLY BE SENSORED????? Because HOWARD has made Sirius a name.....we never really were aware of Sirius or talked about Satellite....do you think the government is going to now go after Satellite Radio and pass a law that would allow the FCC to now regulate Satellite?????? Could be interesting radio.........
Also..you could discuss past guests from the 23,000hrs...and where they are now....whatever happened to people like.....Judy Tenuto.....frequent guests who we never hear anymore....INVITE JACKIE ON AND HAVE A FAQ SHOW.......I would ask him if he is coming to Sirius.....Discuss the new show Dee Snider is promoting on Sirius.....contact him...and discuss the pressure Howard feels in offering jobs to everyone....it's like the Island of Misfit toys...EVERYONE is begging Howard for an hour show.....some of the guests are GREAT guests...but awful hosts of a show...ie; Dice...Johnny -- censored -- was a disaster....discuss where all this is going.......btw Mutt....you are an exception to the above...YOU...like John Hein are amazing at hosting a show....seems like you have done it for years....you found your niche..in broadcasting ...the show is great |

What is there to discuss? Howard isn't taking any more vacation now than he did on testicle radio.

| While we are discussing vacations.... maybe a point on the roundtable should be what they could do while Howard is on vacation? The replays are great cause I catch a lot of stuff that I missed but maybe they could see if Bubba would do 10 weeks (I think thats how much he gets) of morning shows a year? Then in Bubba's place in the afternoon play the tapes or replays or special shows (ie a Wendy the retard show or a Sal & Richard show or some other special show). I could never, nor could anyone else, blame Howard for taking a vacation but lets get some new shows on! They have so much free time and such a great talent pool that there shouldnt be a problem putting on a new live show every morning. |

Liz Aiello leaves and we hear nothing, Mike Piazza and some other woman get canned and Howard mentions it in passing ... Flowers basically says he hates the show (but not that paycheck, eh Georgie boy?) Crone has become a mockery of a newswoman (talking about blowing cops and crying ..please), they completely revise the whole news format (bulletins) and yet, and yet ..little is said. I think that would be an interesting topic and again GET SOME NEW BLOOD IN YOUR DISCUSSIONS MUTT!!! |

Who has been the best guest so far on Sirius? (Personally I thought Wilmer Valderamma and all the chics who rode the sybian)
What has the roundtable noticed as the best additions to Howards show since coming to Sirius? (cursing, George Takei as announcer, Wrap-Up Show,etc.)
Its different people going to be on the roundtable so its interesting to hear their opinions. |

I think Howard has earned all the vacation time he wants.
He is afraid to take his full contract allotment
but it gives us a chance to listen to other SIRIUS stuff
People like Oprah take half a year off.
Since SIRIUS is a public corp,
should not salaries be available for perusal?
I have always wondered what the main group made,
don't really care about the second tier. |

i bought tthe serius service specifically for Howard, but that is turning out to be a bum deal since he is on vacation evary other week... :bigdown:
NOTHING else on sirius interests me...NOTHING...i can WATCH the news and football...i got an I-pod with what seems like a gazilion songs on it...you hear as many commercials/corny DJs/replay of the same songs over and over as you would if you were listening to testicular radio. :bigcry:
if he wants to bore us to eath with the crap of a show he calls "the friday show", that is fine - im willing to deal with that....but at least give us a show monday thru thursday.....im a truck driver, and i literally live and die by the show....(based on their excessive vacation schedule - ive been dying alot more than living lately). :bigangry: |

I think it would be great, if they could set it so that it can be turned on from Sirius without the Sterns knowing about it we would have great radio on the making. |

Extending the SFRT to a three hour show!!!!!! One hour is not enough time to discuss the show and fans views of the show...also discuss how you approach Tim or Gary with ideas for the channels.......How did Sour Shoes get an hour show???
Also you mentioned a show on Ralph and just what he does for Howard and the show...20plus yrs.with Howard going back to channel 9.....NBC days..K-rock..and now Satellite...have Ralph on as a guest and extend the show an hour.....what a day in the life of Ralph is like.....he could actually have a FAQ show.....
This week would be a great week to have fans of the show call in with questions....and extend the show an hour....just when the show gets interesting .....it's over!!!

I like having a discussion about Phase Two...and if the Howard 100 news is being slowly downsized.....have Steve Langford on as a guest....Lisa G.would be a great guest to discuss how they go about gathering the news......this week could also be a great week to discuss the future of Satellite Radio.....WILL IT EVENTUALLY BE SENSORED????? Because HOWARD has made Sirius a name.....we never really were aware of Sirius or talked about Satellite....do you think the government is going to now go after Satellite Radio and pass a law that would allow the FCC to now regulate Satellite?????? Could be interesting radio.........
Also..you could discuss past guests from the 23,000hrs...and where they are now....whatever happened to people like.....Judy Tenuto.....frequent guests who we never hear anymore....INVITE JACKIE ON AND HAVE A FAQ SHOW.......I would ask him if he is coming to Sirius.....Discuss the new show Dee Snider is promoting on Sirius.....contact him...and discuss the pressure Howard feels in offering jobs to everyone....it's like the Island of Misfit toys...EVERYONE is begging Howard for an hour show.....some of the guests are GREAT guests...but awful hosts of a show...ie; Dice...Johnny -- censored -- was a disaster....discuss where all this is going.......btw Mutt....you are an exception to the above...YOU...like John Hein are amazing at hosting a show....seems like you have done it for years....you found your niche..in broadcasting ...the show is great |

problem is, we already know what they are going to do. from now on we'll get tapes specails during vacations. they just added 20 years worth of shows to the replay mix. |

it's boots & otto. plus we'll have 6 more members in studio for the ralph focus group. I was pushing to do it after the roundtable but now that I realize we're goign to have a dozen of us int he city, we might as well hit the bar. i'll switch it back to the afternoon. :) |

i know, what the fuck's wrong with me?! I'll try to bring my A game. But I need to be buzzed first. Anyone know the quickest and lowest calorie way to get drunk? I only have 5 minutes from when I park to when i get into the Sirius building. Last time, I poured a cup of rum and finished only a 3rd and puked most of it out by the time I got to the double doors. |
