Here's a serious question... why the fuck should I care about MySpace... I mean what about it is so great that everyone feels they need a MySpace page... or is it just an over rated online popularity contest...
My wife keeps telling me I should get a MySpace page... but the few times I've clicked on a link it's generally some piss poor designed page with some shitty music blaring and someone begging other people to like them on the internet... is it really worth the effort to even look into...

it does kinda suck, however i am able to keep up with old friends from high school and college that i would not have really thought much about. talking about "adding as a friend" is quite gay though.... |

You should get a myspace because then you could have "myspace friends" :rolleyes: and the number of your "myspace friends" :rolleyes: would be the sum total of your earthly popularity, unlike the old days when likeableness could be established by the number of people whom you have actually met who enjoy your company. ;)
Also, the best part of having a myspace page is the constant barrage of friend requests from uuber hot perfect strangers who have a perfectly legitimate reason to be stripping naked on their webcam and charging you money for it. :D
Incidentally, if you decide to get a page please add me (steelrfn) as your friend as it would aid in my desperate desire to be new wave popular. :p

I got on MySpace back in 2004, right around the time it really took off, and I did it just to pimp out Static Multimedia a bit more. Now it's just so insane I don't know how in the hell it matters to anyone. But I keep posting updates and shit on there for some reason.
As far as this Damien guy goes, I'm re-listening to it now and am completely confused on how this came about on the show. Did he call in randomly? Did he call on the war line? Did they have this pre-arranged? Because it started as if it was random, but having this "Dick" guy on makes it seem as if it was scheduled. Also, some of it felt a bit forced for some reason. Maybe it was the way Spiceboy responded. It felt like he was calculatedly angry. |

It seemed to be a random call... and so far as Spice's anger... trust me... there are people like that in my life that can make me go apeshit far worse in the drop of a hat...

The best reason to at least register and create a 2 minute myspace profile is so when chicks on Sirius or wherever plug their myspace, you can look at their pictures.
Be prepared for the obligatory "partying with friends" pic, the "look at my cleavage" angle pic...and the "pic I took 5 years ago in decent lighting before I ballooned up to 323 lbs. look."
Oh, and be prepared most of the time if you do stumble upon a decent looking chick for the "look at how cute my kid/kids pic."

| I was at a Tribal Clothing party tonight and a local band, Royal Krown, played. I was talking to the band about their music and the guys mentioned check our myspace page. We talked a little more and they said, we can reach the world with myspace, the band dug the fact they have myspace and all that can view it at no cost to them.
