What should we discuss this week? So much has happened.
Tonight we've got Lori, TheJuice, & copter. They all saw the flick last night. Copter specifically flew in from LA to do the roundtable and at the last minute, I was able to score him a pass. Juice won tickets from Artie thru the Shatner Roast and he brought Lori as his date. As always, we'll have Boots too. He's ready to kill himself for missing it last night.

- This is a limited opening in 164 theaters and Artie says they need to break $1,000,000 in the first weekend to justify the nationwide opening on October 6th. It works out to be 214 tickets per theater per night. Will he make it? What if he doesn't make it?

* Remote shows. Las Vegas, sure. But how about a week from Los Angeles? It's been what, 6, 7 years? What's the holdup? Sirius has studios in LA. Otherwise, book a theater.
* Fred. Once again, where's the Fred segment? We got two snippets this week - and his 9/11 memories would have been welcome on the Wrap-Up show.
* Jackie Martling. He did the Countdown to the Tapes and got a heroes welcome. It's about time he made another show appearance. What's the holdup? Ego? A hotel room? Cash? Plugs? Hair plugs? |

(1) I suggest we get a special effects guy or the Real Doll company to make a before and after Robin Quivers, before and after the breast reduction. Since she is not showing them, I would like to see a scientific experiment. Robin has described her size before and after, lets have some radio forensics.
(2) Is Artie ready for Dial a Date? Fred got married due to Dial a Date. It will work for Artie too.
(3) Roundtable speculation: What did Bubba have to say about Clear Channel that he had to keep his mouth shut about, he never said? What can't Howard say about the CBS lawsuit? What can't Ralph say about Howards love life? Speculate... (Sorry I am really curious about these secrets).

Definitely Beer League as you said and also since he made that comment this morning about his contract....how the beer leage box office will affect his decision to renew his contract.
SAL should be a topic.....is he for real or is it Schtick? Is he in danger of losing his job? What will finally be too far over the line.
The Sirius Hoodies are only 19.99 on the Sirius website! Mine should be here today...will report on the quality..because that is cheap!
Also Bubba being in town causes a lot more interaction between his show and Howard's. Should Bubba be here more often? Last time he was here he shocked the puss, this time the Dee and Bubba mess...all great radio! |

This might be considered conspiracy theory but oh well:
Howard has warmed up to Jackie once again, plus since the beginning of the revolution they have been bringing guest comics to sit in next to Artie. Is all of this a sign that they are getting ready for when Artie leaves.? Are they actually doing auditions of new comics? With this new relationship with Jackie is Howard thinking to bring him back to replace Artie? Is all of it is tied up with Artie not having a 5 year contract? :bigthink: |

There is no need at all to react to this campaign I was really surprised that Howard brought it up in the first place. There was no reason to go on for an hour about how Sirius is successfull, when you are brodcasting to subscribers. people subscribe because they like the show if they don't like it they won't subscribe. In a free market economy if someone doesn't want something they wont buy it and it will go away. Thats all that matters. It's rediculous to even comment on it. |

I have to agree with some of the previous sentiments in regards to making Sal a big part of the show. It's the kind of thing the fans would love to hear and it'd be great to really go through it on the air together. Let someone be the 'bad cop' about it.
Maybe something on Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel, since they were guests. They seem to be the only celebrity couple that Howard ever really hangs with. |

I wonder if the online tickets purchased met the theatre quota for seats available and called the show sold out. With Fire regulations, they're allowed only a certain amount of accupants per theater and they wouldn't know who's present or not. |
