Sorry but the show hasnt been the same without him....Bubba doesnt want to face the fact that Gene is a HUGE part of the entertainment of the show and actually brings something to the show.
He should take a cue from Howard....how many times have you heard Gary bitching about dealing with Jeff the Drunk or Eric the Midget or Elliot Offen and Howard explaining to him that "you cant expect a mental patient to act normal" or "what do you expect hes JEFF THE DRUNK"
There is a reason Howard is Howard....he realizes good radio and doesnt get into macho games about "who is right and who is wrong" and trying to force someone to back down....If its good on the show, the show comes first. |

I agree with "the show hasn't been the same" but HELL NO would an employee or "character" on the show disrepect Bubba. I say both of them need to swallow their egos and get back to making the best radio show on the air.

| He needs to concentrate on getting his powdercoating straight. He can't even get that right. Had 2 frames powdercoated by him and they both had to be recoated twice. First, they didn't clean them correctly and it all pealed off, second the coating was so thin there were places that bare metal showed through. He seemed like I was being an ass for wanting the work done right. Definately wasn't the cheapest in town, just took it to him because of the show. Those were the last pieces I had him do. All other work I have I get done elsewere. |

well put. i think maybe the problem is that bubba and gene had a personal relationship outside of the show. you would never see howard go to BFE Missouri w/ High Pitch Eric for a signing, that's the difference, though. at first i really thought this was a work, sorta like Ned making Gene his agent to work out his Sirius deal. but now i'm pretty sure it's a shoot. kinda sucks, i miss Gene but totally understand why Bubba feels the way he does. |

| Gene lasker is a maniacal little troll heathen. That is tuff to deal with because he is really like that, which makes him believe he is better than he truly is, the heathens are always hugely self-delusional. Bubba actually should have put Lasker in a tight headlock right there and choked Lasker within a few seconds of passing out, problem solved. Because Bubba is a normal man, now he has to deal with him like you would a spoiled child. You ignore the little bitch until being alone, dumb and an unknown ugly cunthead finally sinks in. It will take time but we need Lasker back so he can powercoat some more suckers' cars and prove to everyone he shouldn't be in the bidness of power coatin'. Lasker is good on The Show because he is an arrogant, dumb little shit. Even delusional mother fuckers eventually start to recrave the spotlight. |
